Booker T

Booker T podcast show

CBS picked up a couple of new podcast shows to add to their lineup, and one of them happens to be a familiar voice to anyone that watches WWE on a weekly basis. Booker T has been signed to a contract, and he will be providing the network with his typical brand of content. Heated Conversation will now air on the same network that also picked up the podcast show produced by Taz. The new industry has done well for professional wrestlers.

Josh Mathews

Josh Mathews paying off

While it is still pretty early on, it appears that the return on investment for Josh Mathews has been a rather good one for TNA. He is doing a tremendous job of being a one man commentating team after the departure of Taz. The company might have been in a bind had it just been Mike Tenay out there by himself. While he is one of the most knowledgeable guys to ever do the job, Tenay is a guy that works much better when there is a color commentator.

Tommy Dreamer

Shane Helms as a commentator

When Tommy Dreamer gave Shane Helms a chance to be a commentator for House of Hardcore, a new career opportunity was opened. Rumors are now floating around that TNA is considering Helms as a potential replacement for Taz, who recently parted ways with the company. Helms was recently added to the front office as an agent and producer, but a change could be made if management deems him to be the best option to join Josh Mathews.

Tommy Dreamer

Taz to House of Hardcore

While it is way too early for anything to be finalized, the speculation is that Taz is indeed a candidate to become one of the commentators for House of Hardcore now that Tommy Dreamer has managed to pull off an international television deal for his promotion. No word yet on if he has a non compete clause with TNA, but Dreamer works for the company, so he might be able to convince the front office to let the move happen.

Taz leaves TNA

Looks like Taz and TNA could not work things out after all. The longtime commentator has decided to walk away from the company that he has been working with since 2009. While there are rumors floating around that he was upset with the front office because of late payment, there are also talks that the two sides simply could not come to a financial agreement on a new contract. He is said to be leaving on good terms.

Josh Mathews

Taz and TNA issues

There is some backstage heat currently between Taz and TNA. Reports have stated that he purposely skipped a voice over session for a taped episode of Impact Wrestling. It is said that he absolutely refused to get on his flight from New York City to Nashville because he was upset that his pay check was late. Josh Mathews ended up working the episode alone. There are talks that Al Snow could be the replacement commentator if needed.
