Bad Blood returning is one of the more interesting moves by WWE. The pay per view will take place this summer.
Bad Blood returning
For a variety of reasons, WWE changes up their pay per view schedule. Sometimes, they create new ones. Other times, they bring back old ones. Someone in the company believes that Bad Blood returning will do well. The name has not been used in 13 years. It becomes the new July show. The event will replace Battleground, which has ran in 2015 and 2016. As of right now, World Wrestling Entertainment has assigned Bad Blood to be a Raw brand show.
Legacy of Battleground
Since it only lasted two years, it is hard for a pay per view to leave a legacy in WWE. However, there were some interesting matches during the short stint. Dean Ambrose defended the world heavyweight championship against Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins. The hype was good because the three former Shield members were battle for the top belt. John Cena teamed up with Enzo Amore and Big Cass to take on AJ Styles, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows. In 2015, Brock Lesnar challenged Rollins for the world title. Plus, John Cena and Kevin Owens had an entertaining battle.
Bad Blood theme
With Bad Blood returning in a couple of months, it is too far out to know what the theme of the show is going to be. At this point in time, any rumors about possible matches are simply speculations. However, an interesting possibility for the pay per view is to have WWE end long rivalries. It could be a good place to end a feud after two or three months. Another possibility is for World Wrestling Entertainment to bring back old feuds. Build it up as the show where rivalries are brought back to life because the hatred is still there.
