Daniel Bryan health

There is still a good amount of concern backstage for Daniel Bryan. Some people feel that his long term health is in jeopardy because he refuses to have the type of neck surgery that WWE would rather have him do. There are even those that are comparing the situation to what the front office had to deal with Kurt Angle several years back. A big push will be hard to come by if Bryan does not have the trust of management in his corner.

Kevin Owens at Wrestlemania

Kevin Owens is having one of the best rookie years that NXT has ever seen. The belief is that WWE wanted to give him even more of a boost by giving him a spot in the Andre the Giant memorial battle royal at Wrestlemania. Unfortunately, he needed knee surgery, so that will not be happening. The front office then decided to do a tournament with Adrian Neville, Finn Balor, Hideo Itami and Tyler Breeze instead. One of them will get his spot.

Santino Marella injury

As some of you may already know, Santino Marella was working on making a comeback to WWE later on this year. The chances of him hitting that goal is not looking very good. Marella himself admitted during a recent interview that the injury is not healing as well as he had hoped. He stated that two of the screws that were inserted into his neck had came out, so he had to go back in for another surgery to remove the titanium.

Kevin Owens surgery

On Monday, WWE revealed that Kevin Owens had to undergo knee surgery. More details have now been revealed. A partial meniscectomy was performed. The NXT Heavyweight Champion will more than likely miss anywhere between 4 and 6 weeks of action, which means that he will not be working any matches during Wrestlemania week. Management will have to figure something out because they have a big show in San Jose that weekend.

TNA helping Homicide

Earlier this week, reports surfaced that Homicide needed surgery for a torn rotator cuff and that he would need to leave TNA while recovering. It appears that the company is going to try to help him out financially. The former LAX member recently contacted management about his situation, and they agreed to allow him to work a few dates to make the money necessary to pay for the hospital stay. He worked Impact Wrestling this week.

Homicide injured

A good amount of people were wondering about the status of Homicide because TNA moved his profile to their alumni section. That is usually done when someone is no longer with the company. As of right now, that appears to be the case with the former LAX member. He is currently sidelined by a torn rotator cuff, which will require surgery and a long rehabilitation period. There is a chance he could return to the company afterwards.

Eddie Edwards injury

Earlier in the year, Eddie Edwards suffered a broken foot while doing a match on Impact Wrestling. That caused TNA to really think about the future of the tag team championship. Well, it looks like they have received a bit of good news in that department. Edwards opted against having surgery. He found another method of rehabilitation. Things are going well enough to where he could be back in the ring around May.

Shawn Michaels surgery

While his body has healed up tremendously since retiring from WWE, Shawn Michaels revealed that he still has some lingering issues that will need to be dealt with surgery. The former world heavyweight champion stated that he will more than likely go under the knife in the near future to replace his left knee, right knee and left shoulders. The damage was obviously done by the years of impact that his body sustained during his illustrious wrestling career.

Great Khali return

According to the Great Khali himself, a return to WWE is in the works. He told the media in India that he has been working hard on recovering from surgery to his right leg. He states that he is now healthy enough to get back in the ring. Some believe that he might just be working the public, though, as he stated that he will some day make a return at Wrestlemania and defeat the Undertaker at the pay per view, which is highly unlikely.

Hornswoggle surgery

Since he has not been utilized on television in quite some time now, a lot of fans might have forgotten about Hornswoggle. He provided an update on his condition on social media recently. The man legally known as Dylan Postl recently underwent arthroscopic shoulder decompression surgery. He is not expected to be back on the road with WWE anytime soon. His last televised match was on Smackdown back in the beginning of October.
