When it was initially reported that Lilian Garcia had suffered a knee injury, there were not a lot of details available. All we knew was that she needed surgery and was going to be taking a break from WWE for rehabilitation. The longtime announcer has now revealed that she was injured while packing her bags during an overseas tour last November. She tore her meniscus while standing up. While everyone is definitely concerned about his health, many backstage in WWE are questioning Daniel Bryan for his decision to not undergo additional surgery to repair his neck. For whatever reasons, he has opted against doing that. Bryan recently stated that age could be catching up to him because he feels that it has taken him longer to get back into a groove this time around. He is still expected to work Extreme Rules, however.

Some good news and bad news for the Usos. The good news is that Jey Uso successfully underwent surgery to repair a lot of injuries to his body. The bad news is that he is now required to miss approximately six months of action. That means that their involvement in the tag team division has to be halted. WWE might still use Jimmy Uso as a singles performer, but he will more than likely be relegated to working low profile matches.

No confirmation yet, but the belief is that Cole will be back for Monday Night Raw.

There is still a good amount of concern backstage for Daniel Bryan. Some people feel that his long term health is in jeopardy because he refuses to have the type of neck surgery that WWE would rather have him do. There are even those that are comparing the situation to what the front office had to deal with Kurt Angle several years back. A big push will be hard to come by if Bryan does not have the trust of management in his corner.

Kevin Owens is having one of the best rookie years that NXT has ever seen. The belief is that WWE wanted to give him even more of a boost by giving him a spot in the Andre the Giant memorial battle royal at Wrestlemania. Unfortunately, he needed knee surgery, so that will not be happening. The front office then decided to do a tournament with Adrian Neville, Finn Balor, Hideo Itami and Tyler Breeze instead. One of them will get his spot.

Marella himself admitted during a recent interview that the injury is not healing as well as he had hoped. He stated that two of the screws that were inserted into his neck had came out, so he had to go back in for another surgery to remove the titanium.

On Monday, WWE revealed that Kevin Owens had to undergo knee surgery. More details have now been revealed. A partial meniscectomy was performed. The NXT Heavyweight Champion will more than likely miss anywhere between 4 and 6 weeks of action, which means that he will not be working any matches during Wrestlemania week. Management will have to figure something out because they have a big show in San Jose that weekend.
