Kelly Kelly returning to WWE

While she has publicly stated that she is disappointed with WWE for not promoting her outside work as much as they have done with Steve Austin and Dwayne Johnson, Kelly Kelly revealed this week that she would still consider a one time return to the promotion. She mentioned an appearance at Wrestlemania or Summerslam would be something that is of interest to her.

ESPN at Wrestlemania

While there is speculation going around that WWE is going to get a weekly television series on ESPN, the most likely announcement being made tonight by Jonathan Coachman will be that the sports network will provide coverage when Wrestlemania takes place in Dallas next spring. Things worked out really well for both sides when coverage was provided at Summerslam. The business relationship between these two companies continues to grow.

On Wednesday night, Arrow made its return to television and numbers were considerably much better than it has ever been. Stephen Amell attributes some of that to the new followers that he received by doing a match at Summerslam for WWE. He took to social media to thank all of the professional wrestling fans that checked out his show. Amell seems genuinely grateful towards the industry.

For most celebrities, when they do something with WWE, they are trying to promote something that they are involved in. Stephen Amell has been receiving praise from the industry because he worked a match at Summerslam without actually promoting his television show, Arrow. The actor basically did it because he was a lifelong fan of professional wrestling and wanted to live out his dream.

Summerslam in Brooklyn

There were rumors floating around that Summerslam might be heading to Las Vegas or back to Los Angeles, which hosted the event for a couple of years in a row. However, WWE has now confirmed that Brooklyn will be the home to their second biggest pay per view of the year. Vince McMahon has locked down an agreement with the Barclays Center in Brooklyn for 2016 and 2017.

When Stephen Amell surprised everyone by putting on a solid performance during his match at Summerslam, he received what seemed to be universal praise from the fans, the performers and the media. Steve Austin, however, did not like what he saw. He has nothing personal against Amell. He simply does not like it when celebrities are allowed to enter the ring and be booked to be competitive against actual wrestlers.

In case you haven't heard, Undertaker has not gone back into hibernation just yet. He is currently recovering from his brutal match against Brock Lesnar at Summerslam. The legendary performer is also training to stay in enough of a shape to work some more matches. The Phenom signed on with WWE for a tour of Mexico that is taking place in October.

Kamala not underpaid

Earlier in the year, Kamala revealed that he was paid $13,000 for his Summerslam match in 1992 against the Undertaker, who was paid $500,000. He hinted that racism might have played a part in that. Those within WWE are said to have brushed off the comment, noting that one man was a much bigger draw than the other. It is not unusual for performers to be paid differently even though they are working together.

Since the pay per view weekend was such as success, WWE has been touting how well Summerslam did in Brooklyn. You would figure that the company might want a repeat performance next year. Well, that is not the case. Vince McMahon is reportedly interested in moving the pay per view to Las Vegas, a city where people would gladly travel to for an event. There are also talks of taking things back to Los Angeles.

WWE was more than glad to host her since they want to do things right for Dusty Rhodes. Michelle also had the opportunity to watch her son, Cody Rhodes, working a high profile match against a celebrity in Stephen Amell.
