"He just signed with us. I was there when he had his tryout at the WWE Performance Center and I met with him there. We've been working on this for a while. His training will start when he gets here. The thing is, you can be a big star anyplace else in the world. That gets you in the door. What you do once you get here is a whole different ballgame. He's no different than anybody else once he walks through the door of the Performance Center." - Triple H on how Kenta Kobayashi will be treated in WWE

The son of Scott Hall has turned down the company several times, stating that he does not want to join their developmental program until he establishes himself on the indies and internationally. Hall wants to achieve things on his own merit.

It was really fun and I can't say enough good things and I learned a lot, but I told a few of the guys during the initial tryout with Eddie that this was not for me just because moving down to Orlando is not what I wanted to do and wrestling is not the only thing I want to do with my life. To give up everything and just live in that world is not my idea of a great life or a perfect life. TNA offered me to be able to wrestle with some of the best wrestlers in the world, I could be on television, I could go and entertain crowds but I could still come home and be Wes. I could be Davey, then I could be Wes. It was just better for me and I couldn't be happier in TNA it's been great." - Davey Richards on choosing TNA over WWE

"It's unfortunate. At the end of the day this is a business, not everybody is going to be happy and people go their separate ways. It's the wrestling business and we're seen it happen a million times. Unfortunately, AJ Styles was a TNA original and was the face of our company for a very long time. That departure bothers me the most. I had a great relationship with AJ, we were friends, we were part of Fortune together, and we had some great matches. I understand where AJ's coming from, it's all business, and I wish him nothing but the best. Sting was a great guy to have in our locker room. He was a veteran leader. A guy that you can go and talk to, a guy who I had some memorable matches, and a guy who mentored me a lot and taught me a lot in the ring. He's an icon; his name will live forever in this business. And I wish him nothing but the best of luck. At the end of the day this is a business and you've got to do what you can for yourself." - Bobby Roode talks about people leaving TNA

Looking back on that, I would have to slide him into that group of most significant opponents that I've had." - Mr Anderson talks about working with Sting
