As is usually the case, there are a lot of rumors swirling around about Impact Wrestling. The latest one involves Destination America losing interest in the product, even though the network has never made any statement suggesting such a thing. There are talks that Dixie Carter agreed to an out clause in September, which means that the network would be able to cancel the weekly show and TNA would be without a home once again.

Much of the internet wrestling community is curious as to the booking style that Billy Corgan is going to be bringing to TNA. He more than likely has his favorites in mind, and they will be receiving a nice push. That could potentially move several of the upper tier guys down the ladder a bit. The creative department had been praised for rotating performers in and out of the main event scene to keep it fresh, so it will be interesting to see if Corgan does that as well.

Some further details have been revealed in regards to Hector Guerrero leaving TNA. For starters, he was not really needed any more because the company no longer does a Spanish feed of Impact Wrestling. His broadcasting partner was no longer with the company, so Guerrero was simply floating around. There are rumors floating around that the partnership between TNA and Wrestle 1 has come to an end. Much of the speculation stems from the fact that Seiya Sanada was released from his contract before it was set to expire in July. Interesting enough, Sanada has opted to remain in the United States instead of going back to work in Japan. Nothing has been confirmed from either the Great Muta or Dixie Carter at this point in time.

In a rather interesting little tidbit, Drew McIntyre almost never signed with TNA. He said that he was sleeping at the time and didn't recognize the number that was calling, so he simply threw his phone on the bed. The front office tried contacting him a couple of times and failed. Then, Tommy Dreamer decided to take things into his own hands by sending a text message to McIntyre to let him know that the company wanted to sign him.

The latest professional wrestler to make his way into Hollywood is Gunner. TNA issued an official statement to help promote the movie. They stated that he recently wrapped up filming The Battle of New Orleans, which is actually a working title. This is the first lead role in a movie for the former United States Marine. Interestingly enough, he played a member of an elite Navy SEAL as they engaged in a battle with an unknown opponent.

Kurt Angle revealed an interesting detail about his contract during a recent interview with the MMA Hour. He stated that he was only required to work 40 dates a year for TNA. Since the company tapes approximately 50 episodes of Impact Wrestling each year, that means that the former world heavyweight champion is not actually required to work house shows. Angle could opt to do some of them if he wishes, however.
