The former world heavyweight champion hit the gym really hard and is in great shape. Management then canceled their plans. There is an interesting rumor floating around right now that WWE is considering the possibility of having Sting and Stephen Amell, both of whom portray vigilante characters on television, teaming up to take on Stardust and Miz, who portrays a cocky Hollywood actor character at Summerslam. That would generate quite the mainstream media attention for the company.

WWE officials were intrigued by the idea because it would easily generate a ton of publicity with the mainstream media. However, there were those backstage that were concerned that the troubled singer might also be a detriment to their brand.
