There is an interesting rumor floating around right now that WWE is considering the possibility of having Sting and Stephen Amell, both of whom portray vigilante characters on television, teaming up to take on Stardust and Miz, who portrays a cocky Hollywood actor character at Summerslam. That would generate quite the mainstream media attention for the company.

In what can be considered quite the pleasant surprise, Undertaker was recently confirmed to be a part of Summerslam. Well, things got even better, as reports have now surfaced that the former world heavyweight champion is supposed to work a match at the pay per view. Sting is reportedly booked for a match as well, but no confirmation yet that the two of them will be in the same ring that night.

WWE officials were intrigued by the idea because it would easily generate a ton of publicity with the mainstream media. However, there were those backstage that were concerned that the troubled singer might also be a detriment to their brand.
