Benjamin defends Steiner

An interesting scenario played out at a recent GFW live event in Jackson, Mississippi. Scott Steiner was in the ring, cutting a promo, when he was interrupted by Chris Masters. The two had to be pulled apart to stop a brawl. Masters wrestled Benjamin in the main event, and Steiner came out to hit Masters with a bat. Benjamin then cut a promo, telling the fans that he defended Steiner's honor.

Bret Hart

Bret Hart blames Samoa Joe

Since management believed it to be a freak accident, there is no backstage heat on Samoa Joe for the neck injury that Tyson Kidd suffered. Bret Hart, however, has a different opinion. He stated that Joe is doing a finishing maneuver that is far too dangerous. Hart is also hoping that the Muscle Buster does not end up costing Kidd his career.

Tammy Sytch

Tammy Sytch fooled by fan

A rather interesting discussion took place between Tammy Sytch and a person that she thought was Jim Ross on social media yesterday. The two of them discussed the rumors about Sytch doing porn. Some of the comments made towards her were rather raunchy, including a sexually suggestive idea that involves barbecue sauce. The real Ross took to his blog earlier today to inform fans that it was a fake account and not words coming from him.

Dolph Ziggler

Dolph Ziggler and Lana dating

On Monday Night Raw, WWE set forth the story line where Lana was dumped by Rusev, only to fall into the arms of Dolph Ziggler. The two shared a kiss in the middle of the ring that generated a really good reaction from the audience. The reason for adding an interesting story is because the creative department wanted to protect the Russian sympathizer because it will feel like a bit of a drop to go from feuding with John Cena to feuding with anyone else.

Kurt Angle

Kurt Angle to WCW

One of the more interesting revelations that was made during the podcast interview that Kurt Angle did with Ric Flair was the fact the latter was the one that convinced the former to avoid signing a contract with WCW. Flair had several issues with the front office, so he advised Angle to sign with WWE instead. He even stated that he handed him the phone number to Vince McMahon, so that he can initiate the negotiations personally.

Mean Gene Okerlund

Bob Backlund interrupts eulogy

A rather disgusting incident took place during the eulogy for Verne Gagne, who passed away late last month. His son Greg Gagne and Mean Gene Okerlund were the two key speakers at the funeral. For whatever reasons, Bob Backlund rushed to the stage, took the microphone and began cutting a heel promo. Many that attended the event said that it was ridiculously out of place and unwarranted. Backlund has received a lot of heat for the incident.

Luke Gallows

Bullet Club to GFW

Earlier today, Jeff Jarrett revealed a couple of names that will be joining GFW. He managed to sign one of the most popular international acts in the Bullet Club. Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows are going to be a regular part of the roster. They are former IWGP tag team champions in New Japan. In the story line, Jarrett is actually a stablemate of Anderson and Gallows, so it will be interesting to see if that plays out in Global Force Wrestling.
