Jake Roberts

Randy Savage paranoid about snakes

To give you an idea of just how shady the professional wrestling business used to be, Randy Savage was said to have been paranoid about doing the segment where Jake Roberts ties him up and lets the snake bite him in the arm. The idea was created by Vince McMahon. Savage had issues trusting McMahon, so he had Roberts get the snake to bite himself backstage to make sure that it wasn't poisonous. He didn't want to find out on camera.

Paige

AJ Styles theme song in WWE

Interestingly enough, the theme song that WWE gave AJ Styles is still a hot conversation within the internet wrestling community. A little tidbit being passed around is that the performer who does the lyrics is a rapper by the name of CFO$, and he is the same person that does the entrance theme songs for Paige, Kevin Owens, Finn Balor and Sasha Banks as well. Word has it that he also did the NXT theme song for Austin Aries.

Finn Balor teasing heel turn

During the NXT live event in Green Bay over the weekend, Finn Balor defended the heavyweight championship against Sami Zayn. It is interesting to note that Balor worked as a heel during the match. Finn has been teasing fans that the Bullet Club stable was coming to WWE soon. If formed, Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows are more than likely going to be portraying heels, so it makes sense for Balor to become one as well.

Slammy Awards disappointing

Some major changes could be taking place to the annual Slammy Awards show. WWE was very concerned with the latest edition because many felt that the big stars, such as Sting, just simply did not care enough to be there to accept the awards that they received. Management might do voting ahead of time, so that they can go to the performers and tape an acceptance message if they cannot be there in person.
