Impact Wrestling canceled

As is usually the case, there are a lot of rumors swirling around about Impact Wrestling. The latest one involves Destination America losing interest in the product, even though the network has never made any statement suggesting such a thing. There are talks that Dixie Carter agreed to an out clause in September, which means that the network would be able to cancel the weekly show and TNA would be without a home once again.

CM Punk new comic

Rumors broke over the weekend that CM Punk was going to be writing a new comic book on the Punisher. It turned out to be another character instead, even though Punk did admit that he really wanted to write one for the Punisher. The former world heavyweight champion revealed that the character that Marvel gave him was Drax the Destroyer, which interestingly enough is portrayed by Batista in Guardians of the Galaxy movies.

TNA and Wrestle 1 partnership

There are rumors floating around that the partnership between TNA and Wrestle 1 has come to an end. Much of the speculation stems from the fact that Seiya Sanada was released from his contract before it was set to expire in July. Interesting enough, Sanada has opted to remain in the United States instead of going back to work in Japan. Nothing has been confirmed from either the Great Muta or Dixie Carter at this point in time.

There are rumors floating around that Evan Bourne could be showing up during an episode of Total Divas next season. Alicia Fox posted a photo of herself hanging out with the high flying performer. There are natural speculations from the internet wrestling community that the two of them are involved in a romantic relationship. It will be interesting to see if WWE includes a former star on their reality television show.

While an extremely motivated Jeff Jarrett continues to work on getting a television deal for his new promotion, there have been a ton of speculations as to the details of GFW. Rumors surfaced recently that the voice of the promotion will be a very familiar one to longtime wrestling fans. It is being said that Jarrett is hoping to bring together Jim Ross and Mike Tenay as his broadcasting team. He tried teaming them up for New Japan in January.

In a move that would surely generate more interest and perhaps some backlash, there are rumors floating around that TNA is thinking about having Mr Anderson bringing back the gimmick where he impersonates Sting. The highly unlikely move would be a great way to steal some of the thunder that WWE will surely receive when they start promoting the WCW legend and his involvement at Wrestlemania in a couple of weeks.

There are rumors floating around right now that a possible match between Seth Rollins and Sting is being discussed backstage by WWE. However, those rumors seem to stem from the fact that Rollins has been mentioning the legend for the last several weeks on Monday Night Raw. There are those that believe that he is only doing that because Triple H is not available on screen at the moment, so someone needs to mention the legendary WCW star to the fans.

It looks like Darren Young will be making his return to Monday Night Raw and Smackdown very soon. Now that he has recovered from his injury, WWE is testing him out physically. Young worked a live event in Canada over the weekend. No word yet on how he will be utilized upon returning, but there were rumors not too long ago that he was going to be revealed as the person behind the bunny that has been hanging out and teaming with Adam Rose.

Some interesting rumors are floating around after what took place at TLC last night. Reports are surfacing that some of the performers were mailing in their performance last night, as a sign of defiance against WWE for not being able to put on shows as good as what NXT has been doing over the last couple of months. It was said that the unnamed wrestlers who did the silent protest, were doing so because they are in favor of Triple H taking over as the lead guy backstage.
