There are a lot of figures thrown around during Wrestlemania week. Aside from the media eating that stuff up, WWE loves boasting about how big of a promotion that they are. Triple H revealed a very interesting number this week as well. He stated that over the course of the big week, the performers do almost 1000 media appearances to promote the pay per view. HHH talked about how difficult that is for his department to coordinate.

An interesting idea is being tossed around right now, and if implemented, it could shatter pay per view records for UFC. CM Punk is already in the promotion and training for his first fight. Brock Lesnar is finishing off his contract with WWE in a couple of weeks and has eyes on a return to mixed martial arts. If the promotion were to put the debut fight for Punk and the return fight for Lesnar on the same card, that would draw tremendous interest.

A rather interesting omission from the upcoming tag team championship tournament in TNA is Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy. As of right now, the brothers have not been officially announced as entrants. From what we know, both guys are under contract to the promotion for at least another year, so that can be ruled out as a factor for their absence. Management could also be saving their announcement to build up the anticipation from the audience.

Some interesting details have come out of Lucha Underground this week. It appears as if the promotion is really wanting to swing for the fences. They reportedly have a plan in place to go big, and it involves Alberto Del Rio and Rey Mysterio. The belief is that the two of them would be given some sort of ownership package if the company were to become an international sensation. Their presence has already helped in television negotiations.

Lisa Marie Varon is now a candidate to be signed by the promotion, and she brings along a huge fan base. She worked as Victoria in WWE and Tara in TNA. The veteran performer also recently moved to Los Angeles after putting her highly successful restaurant in Chicago up for sale.

Another interesting thing that Chyna revealed to fans recently is the fact that she might possibly end up back in the world of professional wrestling. She states that there is a chance that she could end up signing with Lucha Underground, a promotion that desperately needs recognizable faces to draw in the audience. While it is being said that the company has been offering really low contracts, the former WWE diva is unlikely to be demanding big money.

When the company decided to move him from the Monday Night Raw commentating table to Smackdown's lesser watched crew, it became clear to observant people that Jerry Lawler was being demoted by WWE. His job security, though, remains fairly high. He still has name value and a good amount of fans. Plus, management is afraid that another wresting promotion will sign Lawler and team him up with Jim Ross.

Those that watched Monday Night Raw this week, saw some interesting commercials during the break. Some of them featured promotional material for Impact Wrestling, which caught the attention of and annoyed a lot of WWE fans. Reports have surfaced that Destination America was the one that paid for those advertising spots. When they signed a deal with Dixie Carter, they promised that they would put in a lot of effort into TNA.
