Hogan and Lesnar

Even though he did not work a match at Wrestlemania, Hulk Hogan was given a locker room by WWE. He had to share one, and his choice of a roommate was rather interesting. The legendary performer shared the room with Brock Lesnar. The feeling is that management wanted the former UFC star to be in near proximity to the guy that helped start the pay per view in the first place, in case he needed any advice or pointers.

Bryan vs Nakamura

Last month, Daniel Bryan revealed in an interview that he wanted to wrestle his former roommate and training partner Shinsuke Nakamura at Wrestlemania in Dallas next year. Now, the popular star is requesting that management bring the New Japan star on board when WWE tours Japan this year. Bryan feels that an interpromotional match between the two of them would help draw in fans to the live events in Tokyo.

Paul Heyman to UFC

During a recent interview, Paul Heyman revealed an interesting tidbit about the contract that Brock Lesnar signed with WWE earlier in the week. He stated had the deal not been done, he would have left the company along with Lesnar. Heyman stated that his plan was to follow the heavyweight champion to UFC if he decided he wanted to continue his MMA career. Heyman also joked about following Lesnar to the NBA.

Rey Mysterio schedule

There are those within WWE that feel that management made a big mistake by being too greedy with Rey Mysterio. Some feel that he should have been utilized as a special attraction in the same manner in which the company is doing with Sting, Undertaker and Brock Lesnar. He is using his massive drawing power in Mexico to command a very easy schedule, where he will only wrestle a handful of times per year.

Kurt Angle contract details

Kurt Angle revealed an interesting detail about his contract during a recent interview with the MMA Hour. He stated that he was only required to work 40 dates a year for TNA. Since the company tapes approximately 50 episodes of Impact Wrestling each year, that means that the former world heavyweight champion is not actually required to work house shows. Angle could opt to do some of them if he wishes, however.
