Another interesting backstage story in WWE has been told by Court Bauer, a former writer for the company. He stated that management purposely made it where CM Punk could never sell more merchandise than John Cena. Whenever the number for Punk merchandise would rise, the company would then produce more products for Cena. They also shipped out a lot more Cena merchandise to the live events to make sure Punk did not beat him.

A rather interesting report has surfaced about Matt Hardy and his net worth. It is being said that he is worth approximately $10 million. Some are questioning that figure, but it might not necessarily be completely out of line. Hardy was paid very well by WWE for years because his merchandise numbers were among the best. He also has been able to maintain a good quality of life by being one of the most popular performers on the indies circuit.

A minor controversy has erupted after a couple of fans noticed something about Sting during Monday Night Raw. It was pointed out through social media that the legendary WCW performer was actually wearing some TNA merchandise that night. He was wearing the gloves that were designed by that company. No word yet on whether or not WWE officials have been informed, but backstage heat over the incident is very unlikely.

While quite a bit of interesting things took place during Monday Night Raw, one of the more heartwarming incidents was Triple H breaking character. He did so because a kid at ringside was crying because he thought that his father had really been fired. HHH assured him that it was simply a story line that WWE was doing. The kid was allowed to go backstage to visit with the wrestlers. He was also given some merchandise as well.
