As is usually the case, there are a lot of rumors swirling around about Impact Wrestling. The latest one involves Destination America losing interest in the product, even though the network has never made any statement suggesting such a thing. There are talks that Dixie Carter agreed to an out clause in September, which means that the network would be able to cancel the weekly show and TNA would be without a home once again.

Since he has been playing pretty close to his chest when it comes to negotiations on a new television deal, a lot of fans are skeptical that Jeff Jarrett is going to be able to secure a spot for GFW. Well, reports have now surfaced that he has definitely been in negotiations with several networks. The list includes WGN, Fox Sports 2 and CMT. The most interesting network on that list is Spike, which recently allowed Impact Wrestling to leave.

Some further details have been revealed in regards to Hector Guerrero leaving TNA. For starters, he was not really needed any more because the company no longer does a Spanish feed of Impact Wrestling. His broadcasting partner was no longer with the company, so Guerrero was simply floating around. Since his contract was set to expire soon, he opted to leave early, so that he can focus on his new career as a school teacher in Florida.

Kurt Angle revealed an interesting detail about his contract during a recent interview with the MMA Hour. He stated that he was only required to work 40 dates a year for TNA. Since the company tapes approximately 50 episodes of Impact Wrestling each year, that means that the former world heavyweight champion is not actually required to work house shows. Angle could opt to do some of them if he wishes, however.

The next series of Impact Wrestling episodes being taped in May should be interesting ones. There are talks that Elijah Burke could be making his return to TNA during that point in time. He even teased it publicly on social media. Burke left the company more than two years ago and has remained active on the independent wrestling circuit. Despite being one of the best talkers in the business, WWE showed no interest in bringing him back on board.

Those that watched Monday Night Raw this week, saw some interesting commercials during the break. Some of them featured promotional material for Impact Wrestling, which caught the attention of and annoyed a lot of WWE fans. Reports have surfaced that Destination America was the one that paid for those advertising spots. When they signed a deal with Dixie Carter, they promised that they would put in a lot of effort into TNA.
