Here is an interesting bit of trivia on Nick Bockwinkel. Like a lot of professional wrestlers, he initially was hoping to become a professional football player. Unfortunately for the former AWA star, his gridiron dreams were ended when a severe knee injury forced the University of Oklahoma to take away his scholarship. Bockwinkel decided to follow in his father's footsteps and become a professional wrestler.

A very interesting tidbit was revealed by Cody Rhodes recently. Though his private social media account, he revealed that he came close to quitting the professional wrestling industry when Dusty Rhodes passed away. He lost some passion for it because his father was a big reason why he decided to become a wrestler in the first place. Rhodes also revealed that his wife, Brandi Rhodes, was the reason why he decided to stick with it.

An interesting person to keep an eye on right now is Rachael Ellering. She is training to become a professional wrestler. Her father happens to be one of the most legendary figures that the business has ever seen. For years, Paul Ellering led the Road Warriors to the ring to destroy opponents. Outside the ring, he also led Hawk and Animal by being the guy that handled all of their business affairs. Rachael is training with Lance Storm.

During this time of the year, hundreds of athletes try to make their dreams come true by impressing an NFL team enough to earn a roster spot when the season starts in the fall. A young tight end from the University of Kentucky is doing just that with the Kansas City Chiefs. His name is Steven Borden. For those that are not aware, he has a pretty famous father that just worked a match at Wrestlemania. He is the man called Sting.

While quite a bit of interesting things took place during Monday Night Raw, one of the more heartwarming incidents was Triple H breaking character. He did so because a kid at ringside was crying because he thought that his father had really been fired. HHH assured him that it was simply a story line that WWE was doing. The kid was allowed to go backstage to visit with the wrestlers. He was also given some merchandise as well.
