In a rather interesting tidbit, Savio Vega revealed that Undertaker absolutely hates cucumbers. He suggested that the hate might have actually been fear, saying that the fruit was the equivalent of Kryptonite to him. Vega also revealed that he has been involved in backstage pranks involving said fruit and the Phenom. That shows just how much backstage stroke that Vega had in WWE back then.

Helms recruiting Aries

During a recent fan session on Reddit, Shane Helms revealed something rather interesting about his time as the Cruiserweight Champion in WWE. He stated that he really wanted a variety of opponents to work with so that his reign would be much more memorable. He tried to convince management to bring in some of the top guys from the independent wrestling circuit. Helms specifically named Austin Aries as one of those he recommended.

Mysterio wins Destiny title

In a rather interesting move, Rey Mysterio has been crowned the new Destiny Heavyweight Champion. He captured the title in a triple threat match in Ontario that also featured former WWE star Justin Gabriel. In case you didn't know, the promoter for this company is Santino Marella, another former World Wrestling Entertainment performer as well. This means that Mysterio will be heading back to Canada more frequently this year.

In a rather interesting tidbit, Mark Henry revealed that he was ready to retire as an in ring performer back in 2013. The former world heavyweight champion was more than willing to remain with WWE in a backstage role. However, when he went to the headquarters and spoke with Vince McMahon, he was somehow convinced to sign another multiple year deal by the CEO.

A very interesting tidbit was revealed by Cody Rhodes recently. Though his private social media account, he revealed that he came close to quitting the professional wrestling industry when Dusty Rhodes passed away. He lost some passion for it because his father was a big reason why he decided to become a wrestler in the first place. Rhodes also revealed that his wife, Brandi Rhodes, was the reason why he decided to stick with it.

Hulk Hogan leaving AWA

A very interesting detail about Hulk Hogan was revealed by Greg Gagne during a recent interview. He stated that when Hogan left the AWA, which was owned by his family, he did so in a manner that was not very professional. Hogan simply stopped showing up for work. When Gagne called Hogan, Hogan informed him that Vince McMahon was paying him more money to not show up for work. Hogan joined WWE shortly thereafter.

HHH hogging spotlight

There is some concern within WWE over the roles that Triple H has been giving himself. Even though he was the right guy for the part because of his in ring abilities and name value, some questioned if he should have been the one to work with Sting in his debut match. HHH is also penciled in to work with The Rock at Wrestlemania, so a decent amount of people are going to silently accuse him of putting himself in the biggest spotlight.

Reports are saying that a smaller mixed martial arts promotion has offered him $5,000 for the one time fight. The former world heavyweight champion is said to actually be contemplating the deal.

Though they didn't always get along back then, they understand one another better now. Flair revealed that the worst thing that Bischoff asked him to do when the president of the company was for Flair to put Konnan over on television, which is sure to spark a response soon.
