Sting

Sting not retiring

While the media is under the impression that Sting has retired as an in ring performer, the former WCW World Heavyweight Champion feels differently. When asked by TMZ about his status, the man legally known as Steve Borden flat out stated that he was not retired. He didn't stick around long enough to answer any follow up questions, so his status for Wrestlemania 32 is still unknown. Sting also refused to answer a question about Hulk Hogan.

AJ Styles

AJ Styles new finisher

Over the weekend, WWE did a live event in Syracuse, New York. AJ Styles was one of the participants of the show. He worked a match against Tyler Breeze. It was said that Styles dominated the match on offense. The most interesting thing to come out of the show is the fact that AJ used the slingshot flying forearm as his finisher instead of the Styles Clash. Reports had surfaced that management was against him using his finisher.

Jake Roberts

Randy Savage paranoid about snakes

To give you an idea of just how shady the professional wrestling business used to be, Randy Savage was said to have been paranoid about doing the segment where Jake Roberts ties him up and lets the snake bite him in the arm. The idea was created by Vince McMahon. Savage had issues trusting McMahon, so he had Roberts get the snake to bite himself backstage to make sure that it wasn't poisonous. He didn't want to find out on camera.

Ric Flair

Flair inducting Sting

When the official announcement was initially made, many were under the belief that WWE would have Ric Flair inducting Sting into their hall of fame at Wrestlemania 32 weekend. It made a lot of sense on several levels. For starters, the two of them had one of the greatest rivalries in the history of professional wrestling. Flair helped put Sting on the map. The move also makes sense because Flair is a great talker and is still popular with fans.

Shinsuke Nakamura

Sami Zayn at Wrestlemania

In a rather interesting bit of news, Sami Zayn is actually scheduled to work a match at Wrestlemania 32. He was scheduled to be in Dallas that weekend because he is wrestling Shinsuke Nakamura in a big match at a special NXT event. No word yet on what match Zayn is going to be wrestling in, but the guess is that it will more than likely be the Andre the Giant memorial battle royal, which may or may not take place before the pay per view.

Shane McMahon

Shane McMahon being paid

While all of the details of his contract have yet to be revealed, one interesting information on the pact between Shane McMahon and WWE has made it to the surface. The former vice president of World Wrestling Entertainment is being paid $120,000 for his appearances on Monday Night Raw before his big Hell in a Cell steel cage match at Wrestlemania against the Undertaker. That's more than what some full time performers are being paid.

Dixie Carter

TNA seeking investors

In a very interesting move, TNA has started seeking potential investors. Dixie Carter doesn't want the company to simply exists. Instead, she wants to see it grow. Since she does not have the resources to pull that off on her own, Carter is looking elsewhere for help. Dixie reportedly has a solid five year plan in place, but she needs some help to pull it off. The belief is that she will be using those plans to pitch to potential investors over the next few weeks.

One of the best kept secrets within the WWE locker room usually involves the Undertaker and his opponent at Wrestlemania. Reports have surfaced that the company has already decided on the opponent for this year. They're doing their best not to have that leaked to the internet wrestling community by not telling everyone in the company. There are a lot of rumors going around that the much anticipated match against Sting is happening.

Tammy Sytch

Tammy Sytch in hospital again

Once again, Tammy Sytch is in the news. The former WWE diva revealed on social media that she is back in the hospital again for pancreatitis issues, which stemmed from her years of abusing alcohol. Interestingly enough, she advertised for a show this upcoming weekend. That has led to some suspicion that she is purposely skipping out on the appearance. It might have to do with the fact that she was recently paid handsomely for a sex tape.
