In a rather interesting bit of news, a lot of fans in attendance at Monday Night Raw were said to have left before the main event even started. That is peculiar because WWE was trying to determine a number one contender for their world heavyweight championship. Apparently, a lot of these fans were already able to predict that Randy Orton was going to be the one to challenge Seth Rollins at Extreme Rules, so they walked out.

Last minute changes have been made by the sports book. Brock Lesnar is now favored to retain the heavyweight championship against Roman Reigns, and the reason for that is because he signed a new contract with WWE. Triple H is now favored to defeat Sting in his Wrestlemania debut match. No word on why those particular odds did a complete shift, but the theory floating around is that it is because so many were betting on the WCW legend.

Despite the new contract signed by Brock Lesnar, the sports books are still listing Roman Reigns as the favorite to win the main event of Wrestlemania. Their belief is that WWE has already pulled the trigger on his superstar push, so they are just going to go through with it. The front office can always put the heavyweight championship belt back around the waist of Lesnar at a later date. Reigns is a -210 odd, while Lesnar is +160.

One of the ideas floating around backstage in WWE right now is to have Sheamus making his much anticipated and much promoted return during the Intercontinental Championship ladder match at Wrestlemania. He would initially do so as a baby face before getting the fans to turn on him by costing Daniel Bryan the match. A title feud between the two would then take place for the next month or so.

A rather interesting omission from the upcoming tag team championship tournament in TNA is Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy. As of right now, the brothers have not been officially announced as entrants. From what we know, both guys are under contract to the promotion for at least another year, so that can be ruled out as a factor for their absence. Management could also be saving their announcement to build up the anticipation from the audience.

In a rather interesting move, New Japan has decided to put their version of the Intercontinental Championship on Hiroshi Tanahashi. He recently filmed a match where he defeated Shinsuke Nakamura via pin fall to capture the title. The move is considered interesting because Tanahashi has held the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship on seven different occasions. His legendary status elevates the championship a bit.

A rather interesting thing took place at the ROH anniversary show on Sunday night. Jay Lethal cut a promo before defending the Television Championship against Alberto Del Rio. One of the things he said will probably not sit well with AJ Lee and CM Punk. Lethal stated that he was not someone that would take things that are handed down to him. He then pointed out that Punk was a guy that took a girl that he handed down.

While many are under the assumption that Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso are going to get a shot at the WWE Tag Team Championship at Wrestlemania, management might actually be heading in another direction. It could end up being a six person mixed tag team match instead. The Usos would team with Naomi, while Antonio Cesaro and Tyson Kidd would be paired up with Natalya. The belief is that this story could be an interesting one for Total Divas.

In order to make the match a bit more interesting for the fans, WWE decided to put the United States Heavyweight Championship on the line when John Cena and Rusev wrestle one another at Fast Lane. That has led to a lot of speculations from the internet wrestling community about the Russian sympathizer possibly losing his belt. As of right now, the reported plans will see him somehow keeping the title and possibly extending the feud with Cena.
