To give you an idea of just how shady the professional wrestling business used to be, Randy Savage was said to have been paranoid about doing the segment where Jake Roberts ties him up and lets the snake bite him in the arm. The idea was created by Vince McMahon. Savage had issues trusting McMahon, so he had Roberts get the snake to bite himself backstage to make sure that it wasn't poisonous. He didn't want to find out on camera.

He stated that the company released him because they were losing money when they started expanding their tour business. Ryan reiterated that he was not released because he did something wrong. Joey also states that he has a good relationship with management, so a return is possible.

Now that WWE has announced that Sting will be inducted into the hall of fame at Wrestlemania this year, the speculation will now begin as to who will get to induct the former world heavyweight champion. Right now, Ric Flair is the hot candidate, as the two of them have a genuine and shared respect for one another. Plus, Flair is one of the best talkers in the business, so it would make for an entertaining segment and heartwarming moment.

During his podcast interview show, Ric Flair stated that the two nicest people in the business are Sting and Ricky Steamboat. They also happen to be two of his biggest on screen rivals. Flair took it a little further by stating that the two of them might be too nice to be in an insensitive business such as professional wrestling. The statement holds some merit as others have said similar things about those two guys.

The former world heavyweight champion still plans on taking time away from professional wrestling to pursue other business ventures. In a rather interesting tidbit, Angle stated that if it were up to him, AJ Styles would be his opponent on the final tour of the United Kingdom.

Through FOX Sports, Jim Ross revealed a rather interesting story about Ole Anderson. Back when Undertaker was wrestling in WCW, his contract was coming to an end. Ross felt that the deal should have been renewed and tried to convince Anderson to make it happen. However, Anderson told Ross that he felt that Undertaker would never be a draw and doubted his future in the business.

The former world heavyweight champion said that he was fine with that role because he has already had his time in the spotlight. While he is not officially under contract as a performer, the former world heavyweight champion is not legally allowed to work for TNA or ROH because he has a merchandise deal.
