During a recent interview, Sting told a backstage story in regards to Randy Savage, a man whom he respects and admires greatly. While in WCW together, the former asked the latter to speak in his normal voice, to which Savage replied that it was his normal voice. There have long been those who believed that the Macho Man purposely stayed in character at all times, so they tried to see if they could catch him being normal.

An interesting story in regard to the backstage habits of Randy Savage has surfaced. Hulk Hogan, Mean Gene Okerlund and Ted DiBiase have all revealed that Savage was extremely protective of Miss Elizabeth backstage. His jealousy was out of control at times. It got to the point where it made Savage a really difficult person for other WWE stars to work with. It is also said that this cause a lot of friction between he and Elizabeth.

Since it is the final episode of Monday Night Raw before Wrestlemania, WWE wanted to kick things off with a big bang. They decided to turn to one of the greatest performers that the industry has ever seen. It has now been revealed that Sting will finally speak tonight. Unless things change backstage, it is expected to be the first segment of the evening. He obviously will address his upcoming match with Triple H.

One of the ideas floating around backstage in WWE right now is to have Sheamus making his much anticipated and much promoted return during the Intercontinental Championship ladder match at Wrestlemania. He would initially do so as a baby face before getting the fans to turn on him by costing Daniel Bryan the match. A title feud between the two would then take place for the next month or so.

An appearance was agreed upon so that WWE could hype up his high profile match against Triple H at Wrestlemania. The former WCW World Heavyweight Champion might even make another appearance next week to help out before stepping into the ring at the pay per view the following week.

Sting, on the other hand, is said to be a model employee. He understands the contract that he signed with WWE, and he is more than content to fulfill his end of the bargain before fading away permanently from professional wrestling.

Another interesting backstage story in WWE has been told by Court Bauer, a former writer for the company. He stated that management purposely made it where CM Punk could never sell more merchandise than John Cena. Whenever the number for Punk merchandise would rise, the company would then produce more products for Cena. They also shipped out a lot more Cena merchandise to the live events to make sure Punk did not beat him.

However, the latest reports are suggesting that it could have been the typical backstage politics that kept him from being given bigger pushes. It is being said that Triple H and Shawn Michaels were burying Lashley in front of management as early as his tryouts.

Reports have surfaced that there are those backstage who are critical of the former heavyweight champion for going along with the idea. They feel that he should use his backstage power to veto the move because it could end up being very bad for his character. Management is slowly demoting him.

Vince McMahon was surprised to find out that approximately 600,000 viewers turned away from the latest episode of Monday Night Raw, despite there being hope that Sting would show up in person to respond to Triple H and his challenge. The show was up against the series premiere episodes of Better Call Saul, and that played a factor.
