Monday Night Raw changes

Something big is supposed to happen on Monday Night Raw tonight, as rumors spread that WWE was going to be setting up huge matches at Wrestlemania. However, those plans are being changed at the moment. The writers are left to scramble a bit before the show starts since Undertaker decided to go back home to Texas instead of making an appearance. Sting, however, is still there.

Sting coming back to Raw

Fans were disappointed that Sting did not show up at Summerslam, especially since he was in town during the week to meet fans and sign autographs. The former world heavyweight champion then took off to Chicago to make an appearance at Comic Con. However, reports have surfaced that WWE has opted to fly the legendary star back to New York City, causing rumors of a Monday Night Raw appearance to surface.

If you were one of the many professional wrestling fans that were hoping to see Sting on the same team as Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns, two of the more popular stars in WWE, then you are more than likely out of luck. Management now only wants him to make an appearance during Summerslam weekend. He might not even show up at the pay per view.

Tough Enough cast

It appears that WWE has called in some heavy hitters to make up for the loss of Steve Austin on the next season of Tough Enough. Chris Jericho has finally been announced as the host. He will be joined by a panel consisting of Hulk Hogan, Daniel Bryan and Paige. Not only that, the trainers are going to be Booker T, Billy Gunn and Lita. There will be guest appearances made on the show by Vince McMahon, Triple H, Stephanie McMahon and John Cena.

CM Punk in Ninja Turtles

One of the more interesting things that were revealed by CM Punk during his convention appearance over the weekend was the fact that he has already auditioned for a role in the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. He refused to reveal which character he was trying out for, however. Punk wants to add movie star to his resume that already includes professional wrestler, mixed martial arts fighter and comic book writer.

Wrestlemania appearances

There are a lot of figures thrown around during Wrestlemania week. Aside from the media eating that stuff up, WWE loves boasting about how big of a promotion that they are. Triple H revealed a very interesting number this week as well. He stated that over the course of the big week, the performers do almost 1000 media appearances to promote the pay per view. HHH talked about how difficult that is for his department to coordinate.

Monday Night Raw in LA

Next week, Monday Night Raw is taking place in Los Angeles. The event will be the go home episode right before Wrestlemania, and tickets are now completely sold out. Management has already secured Brock Lesnar for the evening. They are now targeting Sting and Undertaker for appearances as well because they know that the hype for Wrestlemania is not nearly at the level that they were hoping it to be.

Sting at Monday Night Raw

If you're a big fan of Sting, then you are going to want to tune into Monday Night Raw tonight. He is currently in Iowa and will be backstage shortly. An appearance was agreed upon so that WWE could hype up his high profile match against Triple H at Wrestlemania. The former WCW World Heavyweight Champion might even make another appearance next week to help out before stepping into the ring at the pay per view the following week.

As many of you already know, there has been some back and forth bickering between Jon Stewart and Seth Rollins. The host of the Daily Show even took the time to film a video promo stating that he would be willing to come to WWE to confront Rollins personally. There are now reports that it may actually happen. Some are even suggesting that the appearance could take place this upcoming Sunday night at Fast Lane. Others say Wrestlemania.

Ric Flair on Raw

In order to further the story line between Triple H and Sting before Wrestlemania, WWE has decided to bring someone that is connected with both men to help with a segment on Monday Night Raw this week. Ric Flair is reportedly scheduled to make an appearance tonight and work an interview segment with HHH, a friend on screen and in real life. The belief is that Flair will try to warn HHH about how imposing his former WCW foe really is.
