If WWE could finally put together a deal that will entice him to sign, Sting could possibly make his debut in the company by being the person to induct the Ultimate Warrior into the hall of fame during Wrestlemania 30 weekend. The two were tag team partners at the beginning of their careers.
While he has yet to sign a contract with the company, there are already rumors that Sting could be utilized by WWE as the general manager of Monday Night Raw in the story lines. The belief right now is that it is highly unlikely that he will be working a match at Wrestlemania 30.
While most fans are rooting for Sting to eventually join the company, CM Punk has publicly stated that he does not want the legendary performer to join WWE because he feels that it would take the spotlight away from the younger wrestlers who are there full time. He also feels that Sting is well past his prime.
While wrestling fans view it as one of the highest priorities, WWE does not share the same sentiment when it comes to signing Sting. The company definitely would like to bring him on board, but they do not view this as big of a deal as they did with Batista, Brock Lesnar, Rock and Hulk Hogan.
