Steve Austin back with WWE

It looks like Steve Austin and Vince McMahon were once again able to resolve their issues. WWE announced that the former world heavyweight champion was going to be returning to the company and hosting his podcast show with them once again. The two sides reportedly had some issues after the last go around because McMahon felt that Austin asked some questions that cast his company in a bad light. Things apparently are fine now.

Vince McMahon lies to Steve Austin

Much has been discussed about the rumored backstage heat between Vince McMahon and Steve Austin as of late. We might know what initially started the friction between the two. He was promised that he would be the last to come out during his segment with Hulk Hogan, but they gave that honor to The Rock instead.

Tough Enough auditions

We are now one step closer to finding a new performer for WWE. The company has officially announced that they have begun accepting video auditions for the upcoming season of Tough Enough. This is usually where hopefuls send in a quick promo and show off their physique to the front office. Management still needs to find a host for the show since Steve Austin is at odds with the company and Bill DeMott has resigned due to bullying allegations.

Steve Austin shirts pulled

An apparel website that works with wrestlers has reportedly been sent a cease and desist letter from WWE earlier this month. The two shirts in questions were designed for Steve Austin. As many of you already know, there have been rumors floating around of backstage heat between Austin and Vince McMahon. The belief is that the company is purposely doing this as a way of getting back at him for skipping out on Wrestlemania.

Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho hosting Tough Enough

Since Steve Austin and Vince McMahon are at odds, WWE no longer has a host for the upcoming return of Tough Enough. They reportedly turned their attention to Chris Jericho, who is also doing a podcast interview show or the company. They feel that he would be a more than adequate replacement for Austin. Jericho, however, has stated that he has not had any talks with the front office about the role. He might just be working the fans, though.

Tough Enough host

WWE was really hoping that Steve Austin would jump on board and be the host of the returning Tough Enough series. However, the two sides are at odds right now, something that they are denying, by the way. Management has been searching for a replacement, and they might have found one in Chris Jericho, who is on much better terms with the front office than Austin. Interestingly enough, Jericho replaced Austin as the podcast show host.
