Austin boycotting Wrestlemania

In a rather bold statement, Steve Austin revealed during a podcast interview that he was going to boycott Wrestlemania next year if WWE does not induct Michael Hayes into the hall of fame as an individual. Austin feels that Hayes should have been inducted when the pay per view was in Georgia. He thinks that Dallas would be a suitable place because of the history that Hayes and the Von Erich family created in that region.

During his podcast interview with Steve Austin, Scott Hall revealed that he was never really comfortable when he was doing the nWo gimmick in WWE. He stated that Vince McMahon told him right off the bat that he was willing to do the stable with just Kevin Nash and Hulk Hogan. Hall said that made him uncomfortable. He also mentioned that he knew that McMahon would never really push the New World Order like they should have been.

Earlier this week, Jake Roberts was a guest on the podcast show that Steve Austin does weekly. One of his comments might gain him some backstage heat with Triple H. Roberts vented on the show and stated that a heel using a sledgehammer as a weapon is a bad idea. The WWE legend states that doing so shows a lack of ring psychology, something that HHH takes a lot of pride in having.

Monday Night Raw in Dallas

In October, WWE is doing an episode of Monday Night Raw in Dallas. They are hoping to receive a huge spike in the ratings by bringing in some very big name players. Undertaker, Steve Austin, Ric Flair and Shawn Michaels have all been signed for the show. An official announcement has been made by the company that all four of them will be involved in some sort of segment throughout the night.

When asked about the tag team championship belts that WWE currently utilizes, he didn't really have kind words. Reports have surfaced that Roddy Piper has been dropped from his legends contract with WWE, and the speculation going around is that it has something to do with his war of words with Steve Austin. Piper had accused Austin of going to executives of Podcast One and having his show removed from the rotation, which Austin strongly denied.
