It has been heavily rumored that WWE has already signed an agreement with Mr T to induct him into the hall of fame at Wrestlemania 30. The top choice to induct him is Roddy Piper, whom the company has forgiven and brought back with open arms. The move makes sense, as Piper, Mr T and Hulk Hogan were a huge part of Wrestlemania 1.

Andre the Giant
While many wrestling fan only remember him for his extremely quick loss to King Kong Bundy at Wrestlemania 1, SD Jones actually had a few other memorable moments in his career. Andre the Giant and Big John Studd were two of the biggest performers in the entire world of professional wrestling, and the two of them locked horns at Wrestlemania 1. Jim Ross
Where there's smoke, there's usually fire. Rumors have persisted for quite some time now that there is still backstage heat towards Jim Ross in WWE. There is some new evidence to support that claim. Ross recently revealed that the company has not approved any of their performers to be a guest on his podcast show, where Steve Austin and Chris Jericho have had plenty of WWE personnel, including Triple H himself, doing interviews for them.

Steve Austin
There's been another casualty in WWE, thanks to the company losing millions of dollars this year. Tough Enough has been taken off of life support and has now been officially scrapped. Management was hoping to do another season of the show, and they were still trying to get Steve Austin to jump back on board. However, after severely reducing the available budget for Tough Enough, officials decided that it would not work out with the limited amount of funding.

Steve Austin

Steve Austin
There's a little battle brewing right now between two of the greatest WWE stars of all time. Recently, Steve Austin stated that he was the best draw that the business has ever seen. When asked about the statement, Hulk Hogan argued that he was the best by stating that his career was twice as long as the one Austin had. This does not appear to be a promotional thing since the two of them will not be doing a match together.

Steve Austin
Earlier in the month, Steve Austin made a comment about WWE being too scripted for his taste. While those comments would surely bring backstage heat on one of their mid card performers, it is being said that there is absolutely no heat towards Austin, as management knows that they might need him for business down the line.

Steve Austin
"I disagree with scripting. I think the nature of a promo has to come from your heart and your guts and you have to mean everything that you're saying. Now is the perfect time to go back to that formula. You learn to sink or swim. And guys and gals will start to learn to swim again. That's what's going to make the product feel more organic, more spontaneous and more real." - Steve Austin talks about WWE being too scripted

Eric Bischoff
During a recent podcast interview between Steve Austin and Vince Russo, the topic of the Montreal Screwjob came up. Russo gave specific details about what went down between Vince McMahon, Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels. Russo, however, pushed to give Austin an opportunity to speak, and the legendary push ensued.

Steve Austin
"Obviously this is going to be a big financial changer because you're not going to get all those buy rates. I've had a brief experience with the WWE Network. I signed up for it. I'm not a real gadget guy. I've had an iPad for damn near two years, but I hardly ever use it. I put the WWE Network on there, and I typed in certain matches, they didn't have certain things from NWA or WCW. So I've been going more to YouTube. I think they need a little bit more original content. I need to get on there more to familiarize myself with it. One of the things I've enjoyed is the old Garden stuff and from World Class (Championship Wrestling). I think it was smart to come out with the network. I think it's going to catch on more in the next two or three years, and that's when it will pay off." - Steve Austin shares his views on the WWE Network

Junkyard Dog
"It's hard if you're quantifying raw numbers to say anyone was more popular at their zenith than Stone Cold Steve Austin. No one sold more merchandise, tickets or pay per view than Steve. The thing with Junkyard Dog was that he was the first African American number one baby face in a major territory. For black fans especially, he was such a groundbreaking force. There was a unique emotional relationship that JYD had with his audience. He gave a whole race their guy." - Jim Ross describes Junkyard Dog and his place in wrestling history
