Steve Austin
"I disagree with scripting. I think the nature of a promo has to come from your heart and your guts and you have to mean everything that you're saying. Now is the perfect time to go back to that formula. You learn to sink or swim. And guys and gals will start to learn to swim again. That's what's going to make the product feel more organic, more spontaneous and more real." - Steve Austin talks about WWE being too scripted

Steve Austin
"Obviously this is going to be a big financial changer because you're not going to get all those buy rates. I've had a brief experience with the WWE Network. I signed up for it. I'm not a real gadget guy. I've had an iPad for damn near two years, but I hardly ever use it. I put the WWE Network on there, and I typed in certain matches, they didn't have certain things from NWA or WCW. So I've been going more to YouTube. I think they need a little bit more original content. I need to get on there more to familiarize myself with it. One of the things I've enjoyed is the old Garden stuff and from World Class (Championship Wrestling). I think it was smart to come out with the network. I think it's going to catch on more in the next two or three years, and that's when it will pay off." - Steve Austin shares his views on the WWE Network

The thing with Junkyard Dog was that he was the first African American number one baby face in a major territory. For black fans especially, he was such a groundbreaking force. "Which one of these motherfuckers talked to god, and god said that same sex marriage was a no can do? Can you verify? Can you give me some 411 on that background? I've got some damn good friends that are gay. I'm absolutely for same sex marriage. I don't think that there is a god that says you cannot do this, you cannot do that. If two cats can't get married, but then a guy can go murder 14 people, molest 5 kids, then go to fucking prison and then accept god, he's going to let him into heaven. After the fact that he did all that shit? See, that's all horse shit to me. That don't jive with me." - Steve Austin on gay marriage

July 29, 2014
Alexander Rusev
An idea being discussed for Summerslam 2014 right now is to do a flag match between Jack Swagger and Alexander Rusev. WWE is trying to keep this program going for a bit longer because they don't have a lot of other people that Rusev can work with. By doing a flag match, Swagger can win without Rusev being pinned. That would enable WWE to extend the feud for at least another month.
July 29, 2014
Big E Langston
Rumors are floating around that WWE really does not have all their plans in place for that new stable featuring Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston and Big E Langston. Miz
There are still plans being discussed backstage in WWE to unify the United States Heavyweight Championship and the Intercontinental Championship in the near future. July 28, 2014
Alexander Rusev
Alexander Rusev is posing a considerable problem for the WWE creative department nowadays. The staff was instructed to push him up the ladder, but they are now running out of options. His program with Jack Swagger has either ended or will end soon. Rusev cannot be placed into a program with someone lower on the card, and it's too soon for him to work against John Cena. Sheamus has been named as a possible opponent to help Rusev kill time.
July 27, 2014
Justin Gabriel
While he is a reliable performer who does not cause trouble backstage, Justin Gabriel was one of the candidates to be on the receiving end of a release from WWE when the company was doing budget cuts. Unless WWE decides to get rid of the kickoff shows, Riley should remain with the company.

July 26, 2014
Antonio Cesaro

Management is said to be holding off on his face turn and big push because they want to focus on Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns first.
July 26, 2014
Big E Langston
There are those backstage in WWE that are skeptical of the idea of doing a heel turn for Kofi Kingston, who has long been regarded as the ultimate baby face. There are rumors floating around that WWE does not have finalized plans for the new stable that also consists of Xavier Woods and Big E Langston.
July 26, 2014
Josh Mathews
Josh Mathews might not be out of a job for too long. Rumors are floating around that TNA is very close to signing him to a contract. When he was backstage at Impact Wrestling, he did not seem like a typical visitor, as management was introducing him to people backstage. The belief is that he would be a valuable asset since he understands a lot about the production in WWE.
July 25, 2014
Rey Mysterio
A couple of months ago, Rey Mysterio was under the belief that his tenure with WWE was over when his contract expired. However, the company enacted a clause in the deal that enabled them to extend the partnership because the masked performer missed quite a bit of dates. Apparently, he is not too happy about that, as reports have surfaced that Mysterio has stopped cashing his checks in what seems to be an attempt to get out of the deal.
