When you pack a show with the likes of Steve Austin, Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels and Undertaker, you expect fans to tune in since those are four of the most beloved performers in the history of the business. WWE was rather disappointed to find out today that the numbers were not nearly what they were expecting. The television rating and viewership for the episode only increased slightly, which is a disappointment.

Earlier in the month, WWE fans were excited to hear that Steve Austin was going to be showing up on an episode of Monday Night Raw. Even though management has been advertising his appearance, the former world heavyweight champion revealed on social media that he is not scheduled to be on television. He is only attending the event to film his podcast interview with Brock Lesnar.

For a while there, it looked like Kelly Kelly was receptive to the idea of making a comeback to WWE. Her opinion might have changed tremendously over the past couple of months. The blonde bombshell stated that she was really disappointed that the company did not support her new television show. She noted that World Wrestling Entertainment supports Dwayne Johnson and Steve Austin with their outside projects.

When WWE announced that they were doing another season of Tough Enough, a lot of fans were excited until they heard that Steve Austin was not initially scheduled to be a part of the show. His stock and price demand have increased tremendously since having his own successful television shows. Now that Bill DeMott as resigned as the head trainer for the company, word has it that Austin now has a ton of leverage against management in a negotiation.
