Expect to hear plenty of comparisons between Dean Ambrose and Steve Austin over the next couple of months. While it was not shown on Monday Night Raw, the company is doing a story where Ambrose refused medical attention after being severely injured by Kane and Seth Rollins.

Steve Austin
Considering how incredible the show was, WWE should not have any issues with coming up with Wrestlemania 30 highlights to show on Monday Night Raw this week. Brock Lesnar, Undertaker, Hulk Hogan, Steve Austin, Rock, Daniel Bryan, Triple H, Batista, John Cena, Bray Wyatt, Randy Orton, Kofi Kingston, Big Show and Antonio Cesaro provided plenty of memorable Wrestlemania moments.

Steve Austin
During the new Jim Ross podcast, Steve Austin revealed that while he was visiting backstage at Monday Night Raw in Los Angeles earlier this month, none of the officials in WWE approached him about making an appearance at Wrestlemania 30 in a couple of weeks. He might still be there at the pay per view, though.

Last week, WWE did a tour of California, and Steve Austin took that opportunity to get some work in. Steve Austin
Several familiar faces were backstage at Monday Night Raw this week, as the show was being held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, where a couple of former world champions live. Fans already knew that Steve Austin was going to be there, but it now appears that Rob Van Dam, who is still rumored to return to WWE, was backstage as well.

Steve Austin
While everyone knows about his ranch in Texas, Steve Austin also spends a lot of time living in Los Angeles, as that enables him to focus on his career in Hollywood. Monday Night Raw happens to be in southern California tonight, and there are talks that the legendary WWE star will be showing up at the event tonight and visiting backstage.
February 10, 2014
Dean Ambrose
Rumors are floating around that Randy Orton suffered a serious injury during the handicap street fight tag team match on Monday Night Raw. It took place early in the match when Dean Ambrose dove out of the ring and on to the heels. Orton reportedly told the trainer that the ruptured disc in his back was messed up. No word yet on whether or not he can work Hell in a Cell 2014, but as a precaution, WWE kept Orton from working Smackdown this week.

Justin Roberts
When news broke that Justin Roberts had been given a release by WWE, fans naturally speculated as to who would replace him in the role. Initially, the belief was that Lilian Garcia would be remaining on Smackdown because it suits her schedule more, but it has now been revealed that she will be making a return to Monday Night Raw. Some are saying that the move will be temporary until WWE can find someone who can fill the position permanently.
October 20, 2014
Justin Roberts
While the news of his release from WWE surprised the fans, Justin Roberts apparently knew that it was coming. A couple of weeks ago, the announcer attempted to trademark his name. No word yet on whether or not that was successful. He is also currently in Hawaii, a trip that appeared to have been booked prior to his release after the latest episode of Monday Night Raw.
October 16, 2014
Brandi Rhodes
Now that Justin Roberts has been given a release by WWE, fans are speculating as to who will replace him as the announcer for Monday Night Raw. Lilian Garcia is said to be ruled out because the Smackdown schedule works much better for her pursuit of music. Byron Saxton is just the backup for now. Brandi Rhodes and JoJo Offerman are the two primary candidates for the role.

Justin Roberts
When Justin Roberts was given his release from WWE after Monday Night Raw ended, there were a good amount of people who were upset with the company for dropping him unceremoniously. Overwhelmed by the support, the announcer went online and asked fans not to be angry. He stated that he was able to live out his dream for several years. Roberts was one of the more well liked guys backstage because of his passion and enthusiasm for the business.
October 15, 2014
Justin Roberts
Shortly after he worked Monday Night Raw this week, WWE announced that they have decided to release Justin Roberts after a dozen years o service because they did not want to sign him to another contract. No word yet on why management is letting him go, but the news is probably not well received backstage since Roberts was viewed as one of the biggest wrestling fans in the company.

Alexander Rusev
A lot of speculation has arisen ever since Rock made a surprise appearance on Monday Night Raw and worked a segment with Alexander Rusev and Lana. Many are under the impression that a match between the two could take place at Wrestlemania 31. However, WWE does not appear to be heading in that direction. Rusev is still penciled in for a high profile match against John Cena at the pay per view.
October 12, 2014
Alexander Rusev
While he does not have a story line or a feud on Monday Night Raw, Bray Wyatt has been working against Big Show, most recently during the brief tour of Malaysia. That has led to speculations that the two of them could be bringing that feud to television soon. However, Big Show is expected to put over Alexander Rusev, which would bring him down a notch. Management is concerned about putting Wyatt against mid card performers after moving him all the way up to John Cena.
October 11, 2014
Christian
As many of you already know, Edge recently made a cameo appearance via video on Monday Night Raw to promote the Smackdown anniversary. Word going around is that Christian played a heavy part in recruiting and convince Edge to make the appearance. Since retiring from the ring, Edge has distanced himself greatly from WWE, only making a couple of appearances.
October 11, 2014
CM Punk
While Stephanie McMahon recently took a jab at CM Punk on Monday Night Raw, WWE is doing their best to show restraint. There is a fear backstage that if they are overly criticial of the former world heavyweight champion, then it might motivate him to gain revenge by working for a competing company. With word that TNA is interested in Punk, it would not be a surprise if WWE kept quiet about him for the foreseeable future.
October 9, 2014
Chris Jericho
Even though he is now off doing his music thing, Chris Jericho has agreed to help WWE out on their upcoming tour of Europe. Management does not have a lot of top level talent on the active roster nowadays, and Jericho still is enough of a draw to overseas fans. He might be making a couple of appearances on Monday Night Raw and Smackdown before taking off again.
October 9, 2014
Paul Heyman
Even though he is one of the most popular and entertaining performers, WWE is planning on keeping Paul Heyman off of Monday Night Raw and Smackdown until at least January. The belief is that management does not want to draw attention to the fact that their world heavyweight champion is not around for television shows. Lesnar and Heyman should be back in time to promote Royal Rumble 2015.
October 9, 2014
Alexander Rusev
Since he made an appearance on Monday Night Raw and worked a segment with Alexander Rusev, speculation has run wild that the Rock will be wrestling a match at Wrestlemania 31. As of right now, that seems highly unlikely, as the former world heavyweight championship has signed on for several movies over the next year. The studios are also said to be against the idea of him risking injuries in a wrestling ring again.
October 9, 2014
Brock Lesnar
With Brock Lesnar taking the WWE championship home with him during his typical break from the business, Paul Heyman has been left hanging. The massively popular manager has been omitted from a couple of episodes of Monday Night Raw, including the latest one. Management simply cannot find something for him to do while Lesnar is not on television.
October 7, 2014
Dean Ambrose
On Monday Night Raw, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon announced that John Cena and Dean Ambrose would be facing one another in a match at Hell in a Cell 2014, and the winner would get to work the main event against Seth Rollins in the gigantic steel structure. Rumors are still floating around that the loser of the match will be given Randy Orton as a consolation prize.
October 7, 2014
Alexander Rusev
As most people, even those who do not watch on a weekly basis, already know, the Rock made a surprise return to Monday Night Raw this week. Reports have surfaced that WWE officials instructed the Rock to only utilize punches, so that the Rusev character can be protected.
October 7, 2014
Christian
If you are a big fan of Edge and Christian, then you might want to tune into Monday Night Raw this week. WWE revealed earlier today through Twitter that the two of them have just arrived. A picture was also posted of the former tag team champions getting out of a vehicle. No word yet on where they are, but there is a chance that they could appear on television tonight to promote the Smackdown week.
October 6, 2014
Rock
Rumors are heating up that the Rock might make an appearance tonight on Monday Night Raw. The speculations were fueled when it was discovered that the former world heavyweight champion was in New York City right now. WWE is holding their live event tonight in nearby Brooklyn. The belief is that he will not be showing up because management would have advertised the appearance ahead of time to increase ratings.
October 6, 2014
Bray Wyatt
There were some speculations from online wrestling fans that Bray Wyatt had some sort of injury since he has not been utilized much on Monday Night Raw and Smackdown as much recently. However, the truth is that he is just fine. Wyatt continues to work matches on a regular basis during WWE live events. Management seems to be purposely not using him much on television.
October 4, 2014
Jamie Noble
As many fans are already aware by now, Jamie Noble and Joey Mercury were recently given more of an on screen role as the stooges for Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. Since they're still in good shape, there are report floating around that WWE will have them working a match on Monday Night Raw soon. Noble and Mercury spend the majority of their time as backstage agents for the company.
October 2, 2014
Hulk Hogan
Fans celebrated in glee recently when it appeared that Steve Austin was going to be making a return to WWE. However, there should be some caution mixed in with that excitement. Austin has long stated that he would only do it if the deal was right. Management seems to be focused on Sting and Hulk Hogan at the moment, so negotiations with Austin have not made any progress.
October 11, 2014
Jim Ross
A lot of buzz was created recently when Steve Austin mentioned that he was training for a comeback with WWE. Jim Ross, who happens to be very close friends with Austin, decided to douse some water on those rumors. The legendary commentator stated that Austin might not necessarily be in shape enough to work Wrestlemania 31. He also stated that there is a chance that Austin does not wrestle at all.
October 7, 2014
Steve Austin
With fans clamoring for his return for much of the past decade, Steve Austin has finally provided some concrete news on a potential comeback to WWE. The former world heavyweight champion casually mentioned that he was training for a potential comeback during an interview on his podcast show. Nothing is set in stone right now, and a lot will depend on how Austin's body holds up during the training.
October 5, 2014
Steve Austin
Some heavy speculations have arisen this week on the possible return of Steve Austin to WWE. Reports have surfaced that management has informed manufacturers to go heavy on products related to Stone Cold and informed distributors to prepare for a boost in merchandise coming through. No word yet on what Austin will be doing when he comes back, but there is a chance that it could just be a brief appearance.
September 26, 2014
Chris Jericho
Where there's smoke, there's usually fire. Rumors have persisted for quite some time now that there is still backstage heat towards Jim Ross in WWE. There is some new evidence to support that claim. Ross recently revealed that the company has not approved any of their performers to be a guest on his podcast show, where Steve Austin and Chris Jericho have had plenty of WWE personnel, including Triple H himself, doing interviews for them.

Steve Austin
There's been another casualty in WWE, thanks to the company losing millions of dollars this year. Tough Enough has been taken off of life support and has now been officially scrapped. Management was hoping to do another season of the show, and they were still trying to get Steve Austin to jump back on board. However, after severely reducing the available budget for Tough Enough, officials decided that it would not work out with the limited amount of funding.

Steve Austin
Life after professional wrestling continues to be great for Steve Austin. He recently revealed that the studios have renewed Redneck Island for a fourth season and have decided to give the Broken Skull Challenge a second one. These deals give him a bit of leverage in negotiations with WWE, who still want him to return for another season of Tough Enough.
August 26, 2014
Hulk Hogan
There's a little battle brewing right now between two of the greatest WWE stars of all time. Recently, Steve Austin stated that he was the best draw that the business has ever seen. When asked about the statement, Hulk Hogan argued that he was the best by stating that his career was twice as long as the one Austin had. This does not appear to be a promotional thing since the two of them will not be doing a match together.

Steve Austin
Earlier in the month, Steve Austin made a comment about WWE being too scripted for his taste. While those comments would surely bring backstage heat on one of their mid card performers, it is being said that there is absolutely no heat towards Austin, as management knows that they might need him for business down the line.
July 28, 2014
Steve Austin
"I disagree with scripting. I think the nature of a promo has to come from your heart and your guts and you have to mean everything that you're saying. Now is the perfect time to go back to that formula. You learn to sink or swim. And guys and gals will start to learn to swim again. That's what's going to make the product feel more organic, more spontaneous and more real." - Steve Austin talks about WWE being too scripted
July 7, 2014
Vince Russo
During a recent podcast interview between Steve Austin and Vince Russo, the topic of the Montreal Screwjob came up. Russo gave specific details about what went down between Vince McMahon, Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels. Austin then finished the discussion by stating that he had no prior knowledge of the incident going down, but that he thinks the decision by McMahon and Russo was the right one. The business had to be protected from Hart and Eric Bischoff.
July 3, 2014
Vince McMahon
During his latest podcast interview, Steve Austin interviewed Vince Russo, and the topic of Austin's early stint in WWE came up. Both revealed to fans that Vince McMahon was not a huge fan of Austin at the time. He also did not want Austin to talk whatsoever because McMahon felt that his microphone skills were not up to par. Russo, however, pushed to give Austin an opportunity to speak, and the legendary push ensued.

Steve Austin
"Obviously this is going to be a big financial changer because you're not going to get all those buy rates. I've had a brief experience with the WWE Network. I signed up for it. I'm not a real gadget guy. I've had an iPad for damn near two years, but I hardly ever use it. I put the WWE Network on there, and I typed in certain matches, they didn't have certain things from NWA or WCW. So I've been going more to YouTube. I think they need a little bit more original content. I need to get on there more to familiarize myself with it. One of the things I've enjoyed is the old Garden stuff and from World Class (Championship Wrestling). I think it was smart to come out with the network. I think it's going to catch on more in the next two or three years, and that's when it will pay off." - Steve Austin shares his views on the WWE Network
June 27, 2014
CM Punk
When CM Punk decided to walk out on WWE, a lot of fans turned on him for that. June 11, 2014

The other was Vince McMahon, which was a little bit surprising as there have been rumors floating around for the last year that there is some backstage heat between the two.

Jim Ross
"It's hard if you're quantifying raw numbers to say anyone was more popular at their zenith than Stone Cold Steve Austin. No one sold more merchandise, tickets or pay per view than Steve. The thing with Junkyard Dog was that he was the first African American number one baby face in a major territory. For black fans especially, he was such a groundbreaking force. There was a unique emotional relationship that JYD had with his audience. He gave a whole race their guy." - Jim Ross describes Junkyard Dog and his place in wrestling history
