In a move that is a refreshing display of creativity, TNA has announced that a couple of Knockouts will be allowed to compete in the World Title Series to determine a new heavyweight champion. Gail Kim, Brooke Tessmacher, Madison Rayne and Awesome Kong are being allowed to compete with the men for the chance to carry the top belt in the promotion. More Knockouts could be added in the following days.

As many of you already know, the Freebird Rule enables three performers to defend the tag team championship. It was made famous by the Fabulous Freebird and is currently being used by New Day. During a podcast interview with Ric Flair, Michael Hayes admitted that it was not his idea in the first place. He revealed that Ole Anderson was the person that was responsible for the idea.

Just to give you an idea of how valuable Mahabali Shera is to TNA, Sony SIX is actually providing some financing to the promotion during their tour of India. The network really thinks that a local star in professional wrestling can draw in viewers from that country. International revenue is going to be vital to the promotion if it cannot secure a new television deal in the United States during the beginning of 2016.

The history books were changed when Kevin Nash and Scott Hall left WWE for WCW. New details from that chapter have been revealed. During a podcast interview with Steve Austin, Hall revealed that one of the reasons why Nash was willing to leave the promotion was because management sided with Bret Hart in his decision to refuse to take the power bomb finisher. Nash felt that management did not have enough respect for him.

For a while there, it looked like Kelly Kelly was receptive to the idea of making a comeback to WWE. Her opinion might have changed tremendously over the past couple of months. The blonde bombshell stated that she was really disappointed that the company did not support her new television show. She noted that World Wrestling Entertainment supports Dwayne Johnson and Steve Austin with their outside projects.

For those of you that missed out on seeing Bound For Glory last night, a new world heavyweight champion was crowned by TNA at the pay per view. Matt Hardy defeated Ethan Carter and Drew Galloway in a triple threat match to become the top champion in a major promotion for the very first time. He celebrated with his wife, son and father in the middle of the ring. The event was in his home state of North Carolina.
