However, there are reports that World Wrestling Entertainment is interested in signing her husband, Mike Bennett, and bringing him in with Matt Taven as a tag team. The two of them have increased their name value with successful stints in New Japan.

It has now been revealed that ROH has signed the massively popular underground tag team to an exclusive deal. Though the deal is exclusive, keep in mind that Ring of Honor does have a working agreement with New Japan.

Of course, to make things fun, the brothers did not bother to reveal which promotion that they are signing with. Instead, they listed out Lucha Underground, WWE, ROH, TNA and New Japan. The belief is that the popular tandem has not signed with World Wrestling Entertainment because they have backstage heat there.

Through social media, Davey Boy Smith Jr revealed that he now owns the rights to the British Bulldog name that his father made famous decades ago. He stated that he will be utilizing the moniker from here on out. Smith has found a good amount of success in New Japan after being discarded by WWE. Having rights to the name might enable him to get booked even more frequently in other territories.

Some good news for Yoshi Tatsu. For the past ten plus weeks, he had been wearing a protective halo around his head due to injuries suffered during a match against AJ Styles in New Japan. Tatsu revealed to fans through social media that he has now been allowed to have that removed. The road to recovery is still a long one, however, as the former WWE star still has four holes in his skull. He will be inactive for much of this year.

The mystery of Finn Balor and his supposed injury just got a bit cloudier. The NXT star was given time off from the latest string of live events, which led to speculations that he was indeed hurt. However, social media photos of the former New Japan star skiing have surfaced. It is highly unlikely that any performer, especially those in the developmental program, would partake in such a risky physical activity if they were nursing an injury.
