Earlier today, Shinsuke Nakamura was spotted at the airport in Japan by fans, who quickly took to social media to let fans in the United States know that the New Japan star is starting his journey to become a star for WWE. Even though he is rumored to be heading to the main roster sooner than later, Nakamura is still expected to spend some time at the performance center so that he can get adjusted to the World Wrestling Entertainment style.

Rumors sprung up recently that Jim Ross was going to be the new commentator for the weekly New Japan show that is aired on AXS TV, which would make sense because the legendary WWE broadcaster has much respect for the overseas promotion. Unfortunately, though, Ross took to social media to deny those reports, stating that the source has jumped the gun because no official deal has been made between the two sides.

While reports surfaced that stated that Tama Tonga has signed a contract extension with New Japan, the second generation wrestler himself took to social media to let everyone know that he is still a free agent without a deal. There were reports that Tonga was set to join AJ Styles, Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows in signing with WWE.

It has now been revealed that ROH has signed the massively popular underground tag team to an exclusive deal. Though the deal is exclusive, keep in mind that Ring of Honor does have a working agreement with New Japan.

The belief is that the popular tandem has not signed with World Wrestling Entertainment because they have backstage heat there.

New Japan likes having her around, and TNA is said to have shown interest in signing her.

Through social media, Davey Boy Smith Jr revealed that he now owns the rights to the British Bulldog name that his father made famous decades ago. He stated that he will be utilizing the moniker from here on out. Smith has found a good amount of success in New Japan after being discarded by WWE. Having rights to the name might enable him to get booked even more frequently in other territories.

Some good news for Yoshi Tatsu. For the past ten plus weeks, he had been wearing a protective halo around his head due to injuries suffered during a match against AJ Styles in New Japan. Tatsu revealed to fans through social media that he has now been allowed to have that removed. The road to recovery is still a long one, however, as the former WWE star still has four holes in his skull. He will be inactive for much of this year.
