Angelina Love resigns

It appears that TNA remains committed to keeping the talent level of the Knockouts division at a high level. An announcement was made today by John Gaburick on social media that Angelina Love has been signed to a contract extension. She will remain with the company for at least another year. The front office has been working diligently on signing performers to new deals since Impact Wrestling was moved to Destination American in January.

Samoa Joe vs CM Punk

Based on a vague exchange between the two on social media, a lot of fans are under the belief that Samoa Joe and CM Punk are going to be working a wrestling match against one another in the near future. They are no longer with TNA and WWE respectively. However, the odds of that happening are quite slim. Punk is under contract with UFC, and it is highly unlikely that Dana White would allow one of his fighters to be involved in a wrestling match.

Kevin Nash reinstated

When Kevin Nash was arrested and charged for assault, WWE was quick to suspend his contract. That resulted in a bit of animosity from their former world heavyweight champion, who stated on social media that he has severed ties with the company. However, reports are now surfacing that Nash might have had a change of heart. There is a good chance that he might be making an appearance on the next episode of Monday Night Raw after all.

TNA signs Gail Kim

Looks like the speculations about Gail Kim leaving TNA are not true after all, as the former Knockouts Champion has just inked a new contract with the company. Terms of the deal have not been released yet, but like most everyone, it is expected to be for at least a year. Gail herself responded to the rumors about her departure through social media by stating that fans should not believe everything that they see and hear online.

Kevin Nash upset with WWE

While the legends contract with WWE was not his main source of income, by any means, Kevin Nash is quite upset with management for suspending his deal immediately after he was arrested for battery during an incident with his son. The suspension meant that he would no longer receive monthly paychecks from the company. Nash stated on social media that he did not see himself coming back to the company, even after the case is closed.

CM Punk first opponent

When CM Punk announced that he had signed a contract with UFC, many naturally wondered who his first opponent would be. We might have ourselves an answer now. Cathal Pendrid posted a message on social media to let fans know that he will be fighting Punk next summer. The bout will be the co main event of the card that will feature Jose Aldo and Conor McGregor as the headliner. Pendrid is a lesser known fighter, but he does have a record of 15 wins, 2 losses and a draw.
