It appears that WWE has changed their minds in regards to utilizing Daniel Bryan on television. Initially, he was supposed to make an appearance at Payback, while sticking around for a couple of days to do episodes of Monday Night Raw and Smackdown. However, management has opted to pull him off the road completely, so that the former world heavyweight champion can focus on rehabbing his injuries and making a comeback.

Lana finishes movie

After making an appearance at Wrestlemania in the corner of Rusev as he dropped the United States Heavyweight Championship to John Cena, Lana returned to the film lot to finish off the Interrogation movie, which also stars WWE legend Edge. Filming has been completely wrapped up now, so the blonde beauty will be making her way back to television. Her first appearance will be on the next episode of Smackdown.

Brad Maddox

Brad Maddox return

At a live event in Milwaukee over the weekend, Brad Maddox made his return to WWE. Often times, management likes to test things out at these events to gauge what the audience reaction would be before doing it on Monday Night Raw or Smackdown. Based on the lackluster reaction and the poor quality of the match, the front office has much to work on before doing the Maddox return on television.

Lana

Lana shooting movie

On the latest episode of Smackdown, Lana did not appear by the side of Rusev, who is upset with his companion because she gave into the threat by John Cena and agreed to a United States Heavyweight Championship at Wrestlemania. She was also not with him at live events over the weekend. The belief is that the gorgeous Russian valet is going to be kept off of television until the big pay per view. She is currently filming a movie with Edge.

Sheamus return

While his vignettes have been playing on Monday Night Raw and Smackdown for what seems like an eternity now, WWE has no plans on bringing Sheamus back to television just yet. The idea being penciled in at the moment is to have him make his comeback at Wrestlemania itself. Management is still trying to decide which match he will be involved in. The two choices are the Andre the Giant memorial battle royal and the ladder match.

Hornswoggle surgery

Since he has not been utilized on television in quite some time now, a lot of fans might have forgotten about Hornswoggle. He provided an update on his condition on social media recently. The man legally known as Dylan Postl recently underwent arthroscopic shoulder decompression surgery. He is not expected to be back on the road with WWE anytime soon. His last televised match was on Smackdown back in the beginning of October.

Bo Dallas

Bo Dallas return

Since management opted to cancel plans for his return at the Royal Rumble, the belief is that Bo Dallas will be making his come back from an injury on an upcoming episode of Smackdown. He has already been cleared by the WWE medical staff. A push is highly unlikely, but Dallas is liked enough by management that he should be given regular appearances on television and live events. He should settle into the filler role again.

Hornswoggle backstage

While he has not been used very frequently on television, Hornswoggle is usually backstage whenever WWE films Monday Night Raw and Smackdown. Many were under the impression that he had been sent home because he no longer was being utilized with the Miz and Damien Sandow, a gimmick that was viewed as being hilarious by many backstage. The Wisconsin native still works plenty of live events for the company.

Randy Orton removed

Another person that has been affected greatly by the big snow storm in the northeast is Randy Orton. He was initially scheduled to make his television return this week on Smackdown. However, WWE has been forced to cancel those plans because their television shows have been heavily modified this week. Orton is still expected to make his return before Fast Lane, where he is expected to have a match on the February pay per view.

Brock Lesnar pulled

Since he is one of the highest paid performers in the company, WWE is still very selective about when they utilize Brock Lesnar on television. Initially, there were plans to have him showing up on Smackdown this week to provide that show with a bit of a boost. However, the snow storm changed up a lot of plans in the company. Management reportedly has now opted to remove Lesnar from the show and save his appearance for a later time.
