There are rumors floating around right now that Tyler Breeze is being punished for what happened at Survivor Series. There are talks that management was not pleased with how his match against Dolph Ziggler turned out. As punishment, they basically took away the momentum from his big victory by having him lose on the following episodes of Monday Night Raw and Smackdown.

In case you missed the latest episode of Smackdown, Kalisto defeated Ryback to advance in the tournament to crown a new world heavyweight champion. It is now being said that the reason why WWE did that is because there are those backstage that felt that the tournament matches were a bit predictable. The creative department wanted to have at least one upset in the first round.

For the longest time now, fans have been trained to view Smackdown as a secondary show. That is going to be temporarily changing soon. The belief is that Vince McMahon is going to load up the show with big matches for the first few months after they move to the USA Network. There is a very good chance that John Cena is going to have to work on that show more frequently than normal. Undertaker and Brock Lesnar might even make appearances.

There might be some backstage heat towards Naomi because the ending of her match during the Smackdown taping this week was botched terribly. A big change might be needed for the Intercontinental Championship match at Elimination Chamber, as news has now leaked that Rusev was injured during the Smackdown taping on Tuesday. He worked a match against Ryback. The Bulgaria born wrestler was spotted in a wheelchair, while wearing a cast on his right leg and holding crutches. WWE has not made an official announcement in regards to the situation yet.

On the latest episode of Smackdown, Erick Rowan turned heel by attacking Fandango after he lost a match to Luke Harper. The heel turn was set up by a false stare down between the two former Wyatt Family members. The reason for the move is because management really had nothing for Rowan to do. Harper had a little momentum, but it wasn't anything major. The decision to put them back together should provide depth to the tag team division.

There is some confusion backstage in WWE in regards to how Los Matadores are being used. They recently did a subtle heel turn because the front office needed someone to fill that role during a title match at Wrestlemania. However, many are questioning the decision to stick with that plan because El Torito was specifically designed to entertain the children. Diego and Fernando worked as heels during the Smackdown taping this week.

Reports have now surfaced that Daniel Bryan was sent home because he suffered a concussion while working a match against Sheamus on an episode of Smackdown during the tour of Europe. WWE officials were not completely aware of the injury, so they allowed him to keep working shows. Upon finding out, they decided to send him back to the United States early, which is a good thing because his neck has not been at 100% yet.
