After making an appearance at Wrestlemania in the corner of Rusev as he dropped the United States Heavyweight Championship to John Cena, Lana returned to the film lot to finish off the Interrogation movie, which also stars WWE legend Edge. Filming has been completely wrapped up now, so the blonde beauty will be making her way back to television. Her first appearance will be on the next episode of Smackdown.

It looks like Bray Wyatt is tougher than your typical wrestler. Despite suffering a serious ankle injury on Sunday afternoon, he still managed to put on a pretty good match with the Undertaker. WWE wanted him to take some time off, so he was removed from the latest episode of Monday Night Raw. However, the third generation star has decided to step back into the ring. He worked the dark match main event at the Smackdown taping yesterday.

To further sell the kayfabe injury suffered by Michael Cole at the hands of Brock Lesnar during Monday Night Raw, WWE has decided to keep the announcer off of the commentating table for the next episode of Smackdown. The on air explanation is that he needs surgery. Tom Phillips is replacing him and will join Jerry Lawler and Byron Saxton at the booth. No confirmation yet, but the belief is that Cole will be back for Monday Night Raw.

Apparently, WWE has had a change of heart in regards to Jimmy Jacobs. Initially, they were going to have him writing NXT to prove his worth. However, his backers in the company were able to convince the decision makers to graduate him to the main roster instead. He will be writing content for both Monday Night Raw and Smackdown now. Jacobs is working his last match with ROH this week and will be hanging up the boots.

Last night, Nikki Bella cut a promo towards AJ Lee that was scheduled to be included in the next episode of Smackdown. However, there are talks that the Divas Champion went off script and took a verbal jab at AJ. She mentioned how AJ defended the title less times than Brock Lesnar did. That does not sound like something that WWE writers would script because the company does not want to make their heavyweight champion look bad.

As an effort to generate some last minute excitement for Wrestlemania, WWE has decided to put their top stars into a big tag team match. In the main event of Smackdown this week, John Cena will team up with Daniel Bryan, Roman Reigns and Mark Henry to take on Bray Wyatt, Big Show, Seth Rollins and Kane. The match could just end up in a big brawl at the end, so that they can promote the Andre the Giant memorial battle royal.

While it is certainly not very high on the priority list right now with Wrestlemania right around the corner, WWE has a bit of a dilemma when it comes to the Interrogation movie. Management normally promotes their films on Monday Night Raw and Smackdown, but since Lana is involved, there is a fear that it might be a bit confusing to some of the audience members who see her solely as an evil Russian heel who talks for Rusev.

As many of you already know, wrestlers are required to work in NXT before they get a chance to work on the main roster in WWE. Apparently, the front office is trying that out with the creative department as well. Jimmy Jacobs is said to be leaving ROH, so he can start writing for the developmental program. There, he will work very closely with Triple H. If he does well, then he might start writing Monday Night Raw and Smackdown.
