Samoa Joe
Reports have surfaced that Samoa Joe and TNA parted ways after Bound For Glory 2014 once the contract between the two sides expired. As many already know, the company has been allowing top level performers to walk away because they simply do not want to make big financial commitments until a new television deal is secured. The belief is that Joe could be brought back on board once a new home on television has been found.

Kaz Hayashi
There were some backstage jokes at Bound For Glory 2014 that Mike Tenay was the agent for Kaz Hayashi. The two of them formed a bit of a bond when they were working in WCW together. When Wrestle-1 officials were trying to decide who to throw into the triple threat match with Low Ki and Samoa Joe, it was Tenay that convinced them to go with Hayashi. Japanese officials were said to be quite impressed that Tenay even knew who Hayashi was.

Bully Ray
During Bound For Glory 2014, Bully Ray and Devon specifically mentioned the Bullet Club, a stable in New Japan. That is of interest because the pay per view was promoted by Great Muta and Wrestle-1. This has led to speculation that Team 3D may end up signing with Jeff Jarrett and Global Force Wrestling because the company has a partnership with New Japan.
October 12, 2014
Great Muta
In a rather interesting move, Tajiri turned heel during a Wrestle-1 event this week. The decision is noteworthy because he is still scheduled to team up with the Great Muta as a baby face team during Bound For Glory 2014 in a match against James Storm and Seiya Sanada. No word yet on how TNA will handle the situation, but it could just be avoided since most American fans are not regular viewers of Japanese wrestling.
October 9, 2014
Gail Kim
Jimmy Suzuki is the guy playing a big role on deciding the card for Bound For Glory 2014. He recently made a comment about there possibly not being enough room for a Knockouts match, and that drew the ire of TNA fans. Suzuki explained what he meant and revealed that he has quite a bit of history with booking women. Gail Kim came out and defended Suzuki as well, as he played a part in her career early on.

Samoa Joe
Those of you that watch Impact Wrestling already know that Samoa Joe did a segment where he gave up the TNA X Division Championship. That led to some speculations from fans as to whether or not it is a story line. Unfortunately, the injury is a legitimate one. Joe has been having some problems with his shoulders. He might still try to work through the pain and perform at Bound For Glory 2014, though.
September 25, 2014
Davey Richards
The recovery for Davey Richards is not going as fast as many had hoped for, so TNA has had to make the tough decision to pull the Wolves from their advertised appearance at Bound For Glory 2014, which is taking place in Japan this year. No word yet on who will replace the duo, but there is a chance that Eddie Edwards could still be utilized on the pay per view in a match.
September 24, 2014
Bully Ray
When his contract was expiring, a lot of fans wondered what TNA would do with Bully Ray and his stories since he was leaving the company. The two sides have reached an agreement to continue working together, so that the stories can be resolved. Bully Ray will also work the Bound For Glory 2014 event and be inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame before parting ways.
September 15, 2014
Jeff Hardy
Since he has a criminal conviction on his record, there were some speculations as to whether or not Jeff Hardy would be allowed to travel into Japan to work at Bound For Glory 2014. Sources are now stating that the former world heavyweight champion has been cleared to enter the country if he wishes. It is now up to TNA to decide if they want to have him on the show. As of right now, Hardy is not being advertised for the pay per view.
September 14, 2014
Bully Ray
Rumors are spreading rapidly right now that Bully Ray has signed a new contract with TNA. The speculation stems from the fact that the company is now openly advertising him for Bound For Glory 2014. His contract expired not too long ago, and at the time, the belief was that the two sides were not able to come to an agreement on a new deal because TNA was still waiting for a television contract. There is also a chance that Bully Ray could just be doing a one time thing for the company.
September 13, 2014
Bully Ray
There are rumors floating around right now that Dixie Carter might be skipping out on Bound For Glory. That, of course, should spark up some speculation from fans that TNA is on the verge of shutting down. However, the possible reason why she may not attend the upcoming pay per view is because she might not physically be capable of enduring the long flight to Japan. She is still recovering from injuries suffered from the flying table spot with Bully Ray.
September 4, 2014
Bully Ray
Reports surfaced not too long ago that Bully Ray was leaving TNA, as his contract was set to expire and a new deal could not be reached between the two sides. Apparently, he is going to remain on good terms with management, as the former world heavyweight champion is still being advertised for Bound For Glory 2014. Team 3D is scheduled to be inducted into the hall of fame that evening, but it would not come as a shock if Bully ended up working a match on the pay per view.
August 30, 2014
Dixie Carter
When Bound For Glory 2014 was announced, there were some concerns because New Japan was doing a show at the same venue on the same day as well. Dixie Carter and Great Muta no longer need to worry about that since NJPW has decided to cancel the event. No word yet on the cause behind the cancellation. There are some speculations that Jeff Jarrett, who was recently in Japan, might have had something to do with it.
August 16, 2014
Dixie Carter
Over the last several weeks, TNA has been generating quite the buzz, including a big announcement by Dixie Carter and Great Muta about doing Bound For Glory 2014 in Japan. Now, the company is hyping up a huge announcement that will be taking place at the London Film and Comic Con event. No official word yet on what the announcement will be, but some are speculation that TNA could be doing a pay per view in England soon.
June 30, 2014
Dixie Carter
It's going to be a busy day at the Korakuen Hall on October 12th. Dixie Carter and the Great Muta are not the only people hosting a wrestling pay per view at that venue. New Japan Pro Wrestling will also be doing an internet pay per view there as well. The belief is that one of the shows, most likely Bound For Glory 2014, will be taped in the afternoon.
June 26, 2014
Dixie Carter
The announcement by Dixie Carter and Great Muta turned out to be much bigger than initially expected. Some thought the two were just going to reveal that more Japanese wrestlers were coming to the states to work TNA shows. However, the two shocked the wrestling world by announcing that Bound For Glory 2014 will be taking place in Japan. Muta is expected to play a big part in setting everything up for TNA over in Tokyo.
June 25, 2014
Dixie Carter
On Wednesday, a press conference has been scheduled by Dixie Carter and the Great Muta. A huge announcement is expected to be made, but no details have been released just yet. Right now, rumors are pointing to another joint show between TNA and Wrestle-1. Speculations are that Muta will be bringing an influx of Japanese wrestlers over to the states to work the upcoming Bound For Glory 2014 show.
June 23, 2014
Dixie Carter

While details have yet to emerge from backstage, it does appear that the story line between Dixie Carter and the new baby face investory will be a focal point on Impact Wrestling for much of 2014. Some are even saying that it will stretch to Bound For Glory, which is taking place in October.

January 23, 2014
Kurt Angle

Kurt Angle tore his knee cartilage during his match against Bobby Roode at Bound For Glory.

October 31, 2013
Sin Cara
In a rather peculiar move, WWE opted to inform the local media in Mexico that the Sin Cara was being performed by the original wrestler. That is not the case at all, since he was released some time ago. Many in Mexico are already aware of that fact and know that he is currently working for AAA under a different name. No word yet on why WWE opted to make that claim.
October 18, 2014
Rey Mysterio
With Rey Mysterio possibly done with the company and Sin Cara being phased out, WWE has turned to Antonio Cesaro to do promotional work in Mexico this week. Management views him as one of the top performers when it comes to international appeal, as Cesaro has been used in this role before in other countries. Rosa Mendes was also sent along as well since she is Hispanic.

Hunico
During a recent interview, Konnan revealed some dirt on the real life backstage fight between Sheamus and Hunico. Konnan stated that Sheamus had started the incident by being disrespectful towards the masked performer backstage. He also stated that Sheamus threw the first punch, but ended up losing to the current Sin Cara. Some are speculating that Konnan is just being biased towards Hunico, and the facts are a bit skewed.
June 24, 2014
Sin Cara
If you're still a fan of Sin Cara and want to keep up with the former WWE star, he is now going by the new name of Myzteziz. However, the masked performer is only using that name in AAA. Rumors have it that the promotion wanted to avoid a legal battle with WWE, so they insisted that he come up with a new name that they can trademark. Sin Cara will continue using the name and gimmick outside of that promotion, though.
June 5, 2014
Sin Cara
After months of legal threats towards one another, it appears that the issue between Sin Cara and WWE might be coming to an end, as the masked performer has informed fans that he wants a new name. Both sides have claimed that they legally own the trademark. Sin Cara himself had been using the name and likeness down in Mexico for the past couple of months.

May 7, 2014
Sin Cara
While his stint in the United States can be considered a failure due to the high expectations that WWE and their fans had, Sin Cara is still considered quite a draw in Mexico. Now that he is associated with AAA again, the masked star is being featured heavily in promotional campaigns. The company is even using the Sin Cara name, even though WWE owns the trademark.
May 1, 2014
Sin Cara
The original Sin Cara is signing a contract with AAA soon. The belief is that he is still waiting for his non compete clause with WWE to expire. The company did not deem him to be valuable enough to sign to a contract extension last year. It will be interesting to see what name he utilizes in AAA, as WWE owns Sin Cara and CMLL owns Mistico.
April 26, 2014
Sin Cara
While internet wrestling fans make a big deal out of it, the Sin Cara botch issues aren't really all that much of a concern to WWE. Management knows that when you work that style of wrestling, you're going to make mistakes. The backstage attitude and sense of entitlement was more of an issue than Sin Cara having botches in his matches.
April 14, 2014
Sin Cara
While he has been protesting through social media and threatening legal actions, the original Sin Cara has not actually gone after WWE yet. The belief is that he is just issuing empty threats, as the performer has now gone back to his Mistico name and character in Mexico. It appears that WWE might actually hold the rights to the Sin Cara name after all.
April 13, 2014
Sin Cara
During an interview with Medio Tiempo in Mexico, Rey Mysterio was asked about Sin Cara, and the popular WWE star was a bit critical of his former tag team partner. Mysterio felt that Sin Cara could have been the one to take over for him, but he allowed his ego to ruin things in WWE. Mysterio also noted that Sin Cara should have worked harder on his English skills.

There has been some dispute as to who owns the Sin Cara trademark. The performer believes that it belongs to him, while WWE is the one that holds all the paperwork.
March 26, 2014
Hunico
The odd saga between Sin Cara and WWE continued this week, as the masked performer was upset with Hunico portraying his character with Scooby Doo on Monday Night Raw. He even went as far as to send messages to Vince McMahon, Stephanie McMahon and Triple H via Twitter to vent his frustrations, but he wisely deleted the messages shortly afterwards.

While he was initially penciled in for a huge match against Sin Cara at Wrestlemania 30, it now appears that Rey Mysterio will be working the Andre the Giant memorial battle royal instead. WWE has been downplaying his importance because he has not signed a new contract, but this match enables them to feature the popular performer on a pay per view.
March 19, 2014
Hunico
While there is a legal storm brewing between the two sides, there is now a chance that WWE might not be willing to fight with Sin Cara over the use of the name, as the value of the character has dropped tremendously over the last couple of weeks. When merchandise sales remained strong, management utilized Hunico in the role to help keep that going. The numbers have since dropped.
March 14, 2014
Sin Cara
Apparently, Sin Cara remains defiant towards WWE, as the masked performer is appearing on television shows for AAA. According to WWE, he is under a 90 day no compete clause, which prevents wrestlers from immediately working televised events after leaving the company. Management is said to be fine with him working non televised events for independent wrestling promotions, though.
March 9, 2014
Sin Cara
Despite being sent legal threats from the company, it appears that Sin Cara has opted to be defiant towards WWE. The masked wrestler recently won a championship down in Mexico while using the name and character, both of which he claims ownership to.
