There is some concern backstage in WWE, now that CM Punk has decided to walk out of the company. He was viewed as the person who was not afraid to speak up for his fellow performers when management does something unfavorable. With him gone, so goes the leverage for the wrestlers.
"I'll literally be getting dressed or something, I turn the corner, and WHAM there's the cameras. 'Ah, they got me again.' It's like Where's Waldo, you never know where they're gonna be. And for me when I'm backstage, preparing, getting ready, it's not something I wanna be bothered with. So sometimes you'll just randomly hear guys cursing, like that's gonna get them off of the show, like they can't use that scene or something because, 'there's that guy, he's just cussing in the background. A lot of guys just, they all just duck their heads and walk off. So that's something that we deal with but that's the world of entertainment."

"Everyone wanted that spot and I was the lucky one that got chosen. It's an absolute honor. Growing up watching Ric Flair with the way he dressed, the way he walks, the way he talks, I kind of embodied that character. It's been working out really well because I've been winning with it. So thank you Ric Flair, I'm finally winning."

Shelton Benjamin is on the sidelines after having elbow surgery, but that doesn't mean that he's avoiding the wrestling ring. The former WWE star recently was a guest trainer at a seminar held by Booker T in Houston.
Shelton Benjamin revealed that he had successful surgery on his elbow this past Tuesday. The former WWE star is now back at home and recovering. The elbow has been bothering him for quite some time now, and he needed the surgery to avoid long term risk to his health.
"As of tonight Im taking time off from wrestling to take care of a long neglected medical issue. So I assure you all I will not be at the Royal Rumble. Basically I have a pinched Ulner nerve in my elbow that causes lose of sensation, motor function, muscle atrophy & eventually use of my hand. So before things get bad i gotta take quick pause. But after 12 years and no major injuries pro wrestling this I consider very minor"
Through Twitter, Shelton Benjamin revealed that the biggest regret he has about his time in WWE was the fact that he never got to participate in any of the Tribute to the Troops show that the company does on a yearly basis.
Shelton Benjamin went on a little shopping spree, as the former WWE star purchased the brand new PS4, several games and extra controllers.
