A new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie is being made, and WWE fans will get to see a very familiar face. Sheamus has landed a role in the film, and he will be portraying a villain named Rocksteady. Photos of the former world heavyweight champion being on the set have surfaced on various mainstream media websites. The Celtic Warrior has long stated that he would love to transition to Hollywood once he is done as a wrestler.

For the longest time, Sheamus wanted really badly to work a Wrestlemania match against the Undertaker. He feels that the opportunity is now gone because his streak has been broken. The Celtic Warrior now wants to work a match against the man that broke that streak, and he wants it to happen at the biggest wrestling pay per view of the year. He stated during an interview that he hopes that WWE finally gives him a crack at Brock Lesnar.

Initially, WWE had planned on giving Sheamus a big heel push so that he could challenge Roman Reigns for the world heavyweight championship. However, those plans were scrapped, and we now have a heel champion in Seth Rollins. The front office knew that there was only so much they could push the Celtic Warrior before he hit the ceiling. Well, rumors are floating around now that they are going to give him the Intercontinental Championship to work with.

During a recent interview, Sheamus revealed some information on his tryout match with WWE. He admitted that they were awful. For whatever reasons, management opted to choose Dolph Ziggler as his opponent, even though Ziggler was a developmental wrestler himself. The Celtic Warrior stated that Finlay was the one that made the odd choice. He also stated that he was hoping to receive more advice than he was being given at the time.

During a podcast interview with Chris Jericho, Sheamus revealed that he had some backstage heat with Shelton Benjamin when he first started out in WWE. He stated that Benjamin had a weird fascination about pointing out how the Celtic Warrior was a rookie, even though he had worked in the industry for approximately seven years before joining the company. The Irish born wrestler stayed professional despite being bothered by it.

The eight participants of the King of the Ring tournament have now been officially announced. In the first round, Dean Ambrose will take on Sheamus. The surging Adrian Neville will take on Luke Harper. Two veterans in Stardust and R Truth are the next match. The remaining match will see Wade Barrett taking on Dolph Ziggler. The first two rounds will take place on Monday Night Raw, while the remaining two rounds will be on the WWE Network.

In a rather surprising move, Dolph Ziggler picked up the win over Sheamus at Extreme Rules. However, we later found out what motive WWE had in putting together this match. Ziggler teased the audience for a couple of minutes by pulling up his trunks to expose his buttocks. He ended up receiving a low blow and was forced to kiss the ass of the Celtic Warrior. The goal was to generate more heel heat for the bully gimmick, and it worked.

Reports have now surfaced that Daniel Bryan was sent home because he suffered a concussion while working a match against Sheamus on an episode of Smackdown during the tour of Europe. WWE officials were not completely aware of the injury, so they allowed him to keep working shows. Upon finding out, they decided to send him back to the United States early, which is a good thing because his neck has not been at 100% yet.

Since Ireland is one of their stops during the tour of Europe, WWE made sure to bring a hometown hero to help sell the show. Finn Balor was brought along with the main roster. He received a great ovation from the audience as expected. He successfully defeated Adrian Neville in a match. Afterwards Sheamus came out to congratulate his fellow countrymen. However, to play up his new heel character, he turned on Balor and attacked him.
