He didn't make the decision to drop the winning streak to Brock Lesnar, but he reportedly does not mind ending his career on the losing end of a match. WWE wants him back, but the ball is entirely in the court of the Undertaker. For what it's worth, the legend is still staying in shape and working out.

Miz
There are still plans being discussed backstage in WWE to unify the United States Heavyweight Championship and the Intercontinental Championship in the near future. If management decides to go through with it, then Miz is the more likely candidate to hold the unified belt because he has a lot more momentum than Sheamus at this point in time.
July 28, 2014
John Cena
Alexander Rusev is posing a considerable problem for the WWE creative department nowadays. The staff was instructed to push him up the ladder, but they are now running out of options. His program with Jack Swagger has either ended or will end soon. Rusev cannot be placed into a program with someone lower on the card, and it's too soon for him to work against John Cena. Sheamus has been named as a possible opponent to help Rusev kill time.
July 27, 2014
Sheamus
Those that watched Monday Night Raw this week may have noticed that Sheamus was not in attendance. The former WWE champion will also not be appearing on the next episode of Smackdown, either. That's because the Irish star has been taken off of the road due to a severe flu. The illness is probably quite bad since Sheamus has been known to work through injuries before.
July 24, 2014
Sheamus
At WWE Battleground 2014, Miz won the battle royal to become the new Intercontinental Champion. Sheamus is the reigning United States Heavyweight Champion. The two of them are feuding. That has led to rumors of a title unification match taking place at Summerslam 2014. The belief is that WWE really wants to stack up this pay per view to build momentum for the upcoming subscription rush for the WWE Network.
July 21, 2014
Bray Wyatt
It looks like WWE has changed their minds and will not be doing a quick feud between Miz and Chris Jericho after all. The former world champions were penciled for a brief program together, and the seeds were even planted when both made their returns simultaneously on Monday Night Raw a couple of weeks ago. Miz is now being paired up with Sheamus, while Jericho was moved immediately into a feud with Bray Wyatt.
July 15, 2014
Sheamus
There could be one less championship in WWE after the next pay per view. Rumors are floating around heavily that Sheamus could be the one to win the battle royal to become the new Intercontinental Champion. He is already the reigning United States Heavyweight Champion. A title unification would enable WWE writers to have one less thing to worry about, especially since neither belt has been in the spotlight much lately.
July 9, 2014
Sheamus
Even though he is the current reigning United States Heavyweight Champion, Sheamus has not been given an actual feud to work with. While there are speculations going around that he is upset with WWE for not giving him an official program, those backstage are saying that he is fine with things for now. Management continues to utilize him on television each week, and he more often than not is given a spot on the pay per view events.
July 8, 2014
Sheamus
Earlier in the year, WWE had plans on doing a heel turn for Sheamus, in order to bring a little more life back into his stale character. The company even attempted the move on television, but it was botched and the majority of fans did not realize that it had taken place. Rumors going around now is that WWE has completely scrapped the idea. Sheamus will continue to work as a baby face US champion until they can decide on something for him to do.
July 6, 2014
Kane
A lot of action took place in the main event of Money in the Bank 2014. He stated that Sheamus had owed money to Tatsu, so when the latter asked for it back, the former kept giving excuses. The tension between the two allegedly got to the point where a real life brawl took place. The stories that Konnan tells about Sheamus seems a bit one sided, so talk it with a grain of salt.
June 24, 2014
Sin Cara
During a recent interview, Konnan revealed some dirt on the real life backstage fight between Sheamus and Hunico. Konnan stated that Sheamus had started the incident by being disrespectful towards the masked performer backstage. He also stated that Sheamus threw the first punch, but ended up losing to the current Sin Cara. Some are speculating that Konnan is just being biased towards Hunico, and the facts are a bit skewed.
June 24, 2014
Bray Wyatt
Since his feud with John Cena cannot go on forever, fans have naturally wondered who WWE was going to have Bray Wyatt feuding against next. There hasn't been any clear indications on Monday Night Raw or Smackdown as to who he will transition into a program with, but rumors are floating around right now that it could be Sheamus. The two of them are scheduled to work against one another on an upcoming tour of Australia, so that could be what WWE has in mind.
June 20, 2014

June 8, 2014
Paul Heyman
Despite being in the airplane spin for quite a few rotations, Sheamus was able to capture the victory over Antonio Cesaro, who had Paul Heyman with him at ringside, at Payback 2014 by surprising his opponent with a small package. With the win, Sheamus retains the United States Heavyweight Championship and will more than likely be placed in another feud by WWE tomorrow.
June 1, 2014
Antonio Cesaro
At one point in time, WWE had plans to put the Intercontinental Championship around the waist of Antonio Cesaro. However, those plans were dropped and the belt was given to Wade Barrett instead. Since management still wants to push Cesaro, there is a very good chance that he ends up capturing the United States Heavyweight Championship from Sheamus at Payback 2014 tomorrow night.
May 31, 2014
Antonio Cesaro
Following a botched heel turn, it looks like WWE might be attempting the move again with Sheamus. The United States Heavyweight Champion is rumored to be moving into a feud with the returning Miz after his Payback 2014 match against Antonio Cesaro. Since Miz is still a baby face, there is a very good chance that WWE will try to do the heel turn with Sheamus again.
May 30, 2014
Sheamus
In a rather interesting bit of news, the much rumored heel turn for Sheamus has already happened. When the United States Heavyweight Champion kicked Dean Ambrose during the battle royal on Monday Night Raw, that was designed as a heel turn. However, since very few fans picked up on that, WWE is now coming up with a plan to solidify that move.
May 10, 2014
Wade Barrett
Over the last couple of weeks, WWE fans have witnessed Wade Barrett winning the Intercontinental Championship and Sheamus winning the United States Heavyweight Championship. A big reason why WWE went that route is because of the upcoming tour of Europe, as both performers are still quite popular on that continent.
May 10, 2014
Sheamus
For weeks now, people backstage in WWE have been toying around with the idea of doing a heel turn with Sheamus, in hopes that it rejuvenates the former world heavyweight champion and brings him closer to the main event scene again. The idea being tossed around by WWE now is to add him join Triple H and Randy Orton in Evolution when Batista takes his break to promote his new movie.
