However, those plans were scrapped, and we now have a heel champion in Seth Rollins. The front office knew that there was only so much they could push the Celtic Warrior before he hit the ceiling. Since WWE wants to push Sheamus as a top level heel, they are going to need someone in the upper mid card division to put him over in his first pay per view back. The top candidate right now appears to be Dolph Ziggler. He is someone that is over with the audience and can make an opponent look better than usual. The two of them will more than likely square off in a match that is early on the Extreme Rules card. The setup should take place soon.

The belief is that management would like to push Sheamus up to the point where a match against Lesnar could headline a pay per view such as Summerslam or the Survivor Series.

For those that might not have noticed, Sheamus has not worked a televised match for WWE since November. The reason for that is because he was sent back to Europe for the holidays, so that he could heel an assortment of injuries and ailments.
