To help further sell Sheamus as a heel, WWE has announced that Dolph Ziggler is unable to compete on Smackdown this week. He is not actually injured. It will be interesting to see just how far the front office takes the story. There are no live events planned for this upcoming weekend, as the performers are being given a little bit of rest before taking off for a tour of Europe. Ziggler is expected to be on Monday Night Raw this week.

As many of you already saw on Monday Night Raw, Sheamus made his return to WWE this week. The front office gave him a little momentum boost by doing a heel turn. That is not the only change that we will see with the character. During the Smackdown taping, the former world heavyweight champion was given a new entrance theme song and a new entrance routine. For them to go through this much trouble, a push is obviously expected.

While his vignettes have been playing on Monday Night Raw and Smackdown for what seems like an eternity now, WWE has no plans on bringing Sheamus back to television just yet. The idea being penciled in at the moment is to have him make his comeback at Wrestlemania itself. Management is still trying to decide which match he will be involved in. The two choices are the Andre the Giant memorial battle royal and the ladder match.

In case you have missed the last month of Monday Night Raw, Sheamus is coming back very soon. WWE has been promoting it for several weeks now. The only issue that management has right now is that the creative department has yet to figure out what the former world heavyweight champion is going to be doing upon his return. There are talks that he could be thrown into the ladder match for the Intercontinental Championship at Wrestlemania.
