Kenta Kobayashi
Reports have surfaced that WWE intends on having Prince Devitt and Kenta Kobayashi continue working as a tag team. A possible tag title run is being discussed. However, this might lead to some problems, as one of the things that Devitt reportedly requested when he signed his contract was that he not be forced to stay in developmental for too long of a period. Devitt feels that he has enough international experience to be qualified for the main roster.

Alexa Bliss
A lot of eyes stay focused on the developmental program in WWE because that is usually where the next star will come from. The latest person to be viewed as the next one to be elevated to the main roster is Alexa Bliss. The diva has impressed management over the last couple of weeks, and some are even saying that she has moved past Ashley Flair in line. She is already ahead of Bayley and Sasha Banks at the moment.
October 29, 2014
Adrian Neville
WWE officials are a lot more observant than fans think that they are. The company routinely monitors the audience reaction to certain performers. As of late, management has noticed that the ovations that Adrian Neville has been receiving when working with the main roster has been superb. On some nights, he gets more of a reaction than the guys that have been on television regularly.
October 15, 2014
Brad Maddox
An interesting return took place at a WWE live event in Macon, Georgia this week. Brad Maddox came out and worked a match. He had previously been pulled from television when management dropped his on screen character. Since he was given a match to work, the speculation is that the company will finally give him a chance to be a full time performer on the main roster.
October 12, 2014
Kenta Kobayashi
Reports have surfaced that Prince Devitt and Kenta Kobayashi are going to be promoted to the main roster very soon. The two of them are established international stars, and management is not going to have them languishing in the developmental program. WWE knows that the promotion might upset some of the guys that have been in WWE NXT for a while, but it is a move that they want to do.
September 30, 2014
Prince Devitt
Since WWE likes to own the copyright to the names of their performers, most everyone is given a new moniker when they sign a contract. Prince Devitt is no exception. The international star will now be using the name Finn Balor while he works through the developmental phase. Depending on how fans react to the name, Devitt will more than likely be bringing that name with him to the main roster.
September 25, 2014
Damien Sandow
If you watched WWE NXT Takeover last night, you know that Tyler Breeze failed to win the heavyweight championship. However, management might have something better for him. Reports have surfaced that Breeze is on the verge of being given a promotion to the main roster, where the cocky character will be joining the entourage of the Miz, which already features Damien Sandow.
September 12, 2014
Ashley Flair
There are rumors floating around that a title change could be taking place in WWE NXT very soon. Bayley might be given the women's title during the middle part of September. Reports are floating around that Ashley Flair is on the verge of being given a promotion to the main roster in about a month, so she would need to drop the belt to someone else in developmental.
August 28, 2014
Yoshi Tatsu
When Yoshi Tatsu was given a release by WWE, he was devastated by it because he had been working so hard in developmental to get back to the main roster. However, he is not one to give up on a wrestling career. Reports have surfaced that he will be heading back overseas to sign a contract with New Japan after he finishes up his commitment on the independent circuit.
August 24, 2014
Bo Dallas
Rumors have surfaced that Vince McMahon and company have given up on Bo Dallas. They do not view him as someone that will be a major asset to WWE. With his push being derailed on television, these rumors appear to lean closer to fact than fiction. Dallas had his push taken away almost immediately the last time he was on the main roster, so there are those that believe that this might be his final chance.
August 15, 2014
AJ Lee
Rumors are going around that Ashley Flair has moved to the front of the line for a promotion from developmental to the main roster in WWE. There are some roadblocks in her way, though. Total Divas is set to become a major focus again very soon, so the writers will put an emphasis on them when writing Monday Night Raw. Flair might also have to wait a bit longer if Paige picks up more momentum in her feud with AJ Lee.
August 12, 2014
Ashley Flair
Ever since his return to WWE, Ric Flair has just been floating around, making random appearances and working as a special guest referee at live events. It looks like management may have something for him to do very soon, as Ashley Flair has reportedly been earmarked as the next developmental wrestler to be called up to the main roster.
August 7, 2014
Bray Wyatt
During a recent interview, Triple H revealed some interesting things about Bray Wyatt. He stated that WWE was on the verge of giving him a release a while back. August 7, 2014
Adam Rose
Despite proving himself to be a valuable commodity on the international circuit for WWE, talks of promoting Sami Zayn to the main roster have died down tremendously as of late. With Bo Dallas and Adam Rose struggling to gain a connection with the audience, the belief is that management is hesitant to bring another person up from developmental at this time.
August 2, 2014
Barry Windham
A lot of positive things are happening for Bo Dallas as of late. In addition to finally being called back up to the main roster by WWE, he also recently got married. It's interesting to note that he did not take any time off of television for the ceremony. The belief is that several of his famous relatives, such as Bray Wyatt, Barry Windham and Mike Rotunda, were on hand for the event.
June 27, 2014
Ezekiel Jackson
Even though WWE refused to bring him back to the main roster after he recovered from his injuries, Ezekiel Jackson still had some value to the wrestling industry. Rumors surfaced that Jeff Jarrett was interested in bringing him on board with Global Force Wrestling, but word coming out of TNA is that the company is close to finalizing a contract with Jackson.
June 26, 2014
JTG
When WWE announced that they were releasing several performers from their main roster earlier this month, it caught a few of them by surprise. JTG, however, was well prepared for his release. He had been expecting it for quite some time now. There was an incident a while back where he received major backstage heat from management for speaking out about payment. Since then, his days with WWE were numbered. JTG recently revealed to TMZ that he had started planning around the release way before it took place.
June 23, 2014
Great Muta
While WWE did not feel that he was good enough for the main roster, Yoshi Tatsu still has a couple of suitors left in the industry. Shortly after his contract release, the Japanese star was contacted by All Japan Pro Wrestling and Wrestle-1, which is owned by the Great Muta, about returning to his home country. Rumors are floating around that Tatsu would prefer to stay in the United States, so he may explore his options here first before making a decision to return home.
June 23, 2014
Vince McMahon
With the company suffering such a public decline lately, Vince McMahon decided that WWE needed quite the shakeup if they wanted to get things back on track. Aside from releasing several longtime wrestlers, the company has also fired their lead writer. Jay Gibson was let go from his contract reportedly a day after WWE purged their main roster.
June 17, 2014
Tyson Kidd
Even though the mask has been designed and ordered, it looks like Tyson Kidd might not be doing that gimmick after all. Some were pushing for him to receive a new character and push on the main roster because of his long tenure with WWE. However, others are against the idea and want him to remain in WWE NXT to work with the developmental wrestlers.
June 12, 2014
Erick Rowan
The surprising face turn for Erick Rowan recently left fans a bit confused, as there had been no signs of that happening. The reason for that is simply because WWE did not have it planned out. The move was done at the last minute when management found out that Sheamus was being forced into surgery to repair an assortment of ailments. Rowan went from not being scheduled for Survivor Series 2014 to being in the main event.
November 21, 2014
Sheamus
Apparently, Sheamus is actually injured. Many were under the impression that the former world heavyweight champion was only doing a story line for television, but he posted a photo of himself on Twitter, going in for surgery. It does not appear to be extremely serious. The belief is that Sheamus is going on to repair several minor ailments that have been bugging him. He is expected to miss some time from WWE.
November 20, 2014
Sheamus
During a recent interview, Sheamus stated that he was a big comic book fan, and he would absolutely love to play Venom in the upcoming film. That has led to rumors about the former world heavyweight champion actually being in line for the role. That is simply not the case. He was basically expressing his desire. Nothing more than that. Hollywood will more than likely go with an established actor in the movie.
November 19, 2014
Alexander Rusev
After Monday Night Raw went off the air, WWE Network subscribers were treated to a bonus match. Alexander Rusev challenged Sheamus for the United States Heavyweight Championship, a match which was originally planned for Survivor Series 2014. The Russian heel ended up winning the title after Sheamus passed out from the Camel Clutch submission. No word yet on why WWE opted to do the match earlier than scheduled.
November 4, 2014
Miz
With only two matches confirmed for Hell in a Cell 2014, WWE is looking at building the under card with some filler matches. One of the top candidates is a bout between Sheamus and Miz. Management is leaning towards definitely doing that match because they need to build up Sheamus, so that he can be placed into a feud with Alexander Rusev next month.
October 11, 2014
Sheamus
In a sign of how rapidly Alexander Rusev is rising through the ranks, management now has him penciled in a high profile match at Wrestlemania 31 against John Cena. The Russian loyalist is expected to be built up in upcoming matches against Big Show and possibly Sheamus before starting his feud with Cena. The early bet is that Cena will be the one to end the reign of terror by Rusev.
October 9, 2014
Mark Henry
After winning his war against Mark Henry, Alexander Rusev was transitioned over into a feud with Big Show. The two of them are expected to finish off their program at Hell in a Cell 2014. Rusev is expected to come out on top and move further up the ladder. Reports have surfaced that WWE is going to pair him up with Sheamus and have him take the United States Heavyweight Championship off of him.
October 2, 2014
Sheamus
As many fans already know, WWE has run out of opponents for Bray Wyatt, so he has slipped down the ladder tremendously over the last couple of weeks. Sheamus has long been a rumored opponent for Wyatt, and it looks like that feud may be happening soon. Management has had the two of them working together at live events, and the belief is that it will be brought to television soon.
September 20, 2014
Sheamus
When Bray Wyatt was closing out his feud with John Cena, many wondered who WWE was going to pair him up with next. Fortunately for the company, Chris Jericho agreed to return and help keep Wyatt interesting. Their feud is about to end, so the question has popped up again. As of right now, it looks like WWE is leaning towards putting Wyatt together with Sheamus in a program.
August 22, 2014
Antonio Cesaro
Since neither man was involved in a feud, it looks like WWE is about to pair Antonio Cesaro and Sheamus in a feud for the United States Heavyweight Championship. The story between the two might have been initiated during WWE Main Event. Management has been known to drop stories abruptly, so if this does not make it to Monday Night Raw or Smackdown, then the feud is not going forward.
August 20, 2014
Sheamus
As expected, WWE has instructed their performers to remain silent if they are asked about the backstage incident that led to the release of Alberto Del Rio. When asked by the media, Sheamus explicitly stated that he knew nothing of the situation, even though most everyone in the company is aware of what happened. Management does not want to run the risk of starting a legal battle with Del Rio.
August 17, 2014
Sheamus
After taking a little bit of time off the road and in Europe, Sheamus is now back with WWE. While he was not utilized on Monday Night Raw, he did work a match at the taping for WWE Superstars. The former world heavyweight champion was also kept off of Smackdown as well. Sheamus is currently on the tour of Australia with the rest of the WWE crew and should be back on television soon.
August 7, 2014
Sheamus
While there are still discussions on a title unification program, there are now people backstage in WWE that are pushing for Sheamus to drop the United States Heavyweight Championship to Alexander Rusev. Some feel that it would give he and Lana a bit more heel heat. Plus, they can stall his push a bit by having him defend the belt against lower level opponents.
July 31, 2014
Sheamus
There are some interesting rumors floating around right now that Sheamus could be cast to portray Darth Vader in the upcoming Star Wars movie. A publication in Ireland is even running with the story. It has been noted that Sheamus has portrayed the character before during promotional tours, which more than likely took place before he became a WWE star. Sheamus himself has mentioned the rumor on his Twitter account and even teased that it might be true.
July 30, 2014
Sheamus
There are still plans being discussed backstage in WWE to unify the United States Heavyweight Championship and the Intercontinental Championship in the near future. If management decides to go through with it, then Miz is the more likely candidate to hold the unified belt because he has a lot more momentum than Sheamus at this point in time.
July 28, 2014
Alexander Rusev
Alexander Rusev is posing a considerable problem for the WWE creative department nowadays. The staff was instructed to push him up the ladder, but they are now running out of options. His program with Jack Swagger has either ended or will end soon. Rusev cannot be placed into a program with someone lower on the card, and it's too soon for him to work against John Cena. Sheamus has been named as a possible opponent to help Rusev kill time.
July 27, 2014
Sheamus
Those that watched Monday Night Raw this week may have noticed that Sheamus was not in attendance. The former WWE champion will also not be appearing on the next episode of Smackdown, either. That's because the Irish star has been taken off of the road due to a severe flu. The illness is probably quite bad since Sheamus has been known to work through injuries before.
July 24, 2014
Sheamus
At WWE Battleground 2014, Miz won the battle royal to become the new Intercontinental Champion. Sheamus is the reigning United States Heavyweight Champion. The two of them are feuding. That has led to rumors of a title unification match taking place at Summerslam 2014. The belief is that WWE really wants to stack up this pay per view to build momentum for the upcoming subscription rush for the WWE Network.
July 21, 2014
Sheamus
It looks like WWE has changed their minds and will not be doing a quick feud between Miz and Chris Jericho after all. The former world champions were penciled for a brief program together, and the seeds were even planted when both made their returns simultaneously on Monday Night Raw a couple of weeks ago. Miz is now being paired up with Sheamus, while Jericho was moved immediately into a feud with Bray Wyatt.
July 15, 2014
Sheamus
There could be one less championship in WWE after the next pay per view. Rumors are floating around heavily that Sheamus could be the one to win the battle royal to become the new Intercontinental Champion. He is already the reigning United States Heavyweight Champion. A title unification would enable WWE writers to have one less thing to worry about, especially since neither belt has been in the spotlight much lately.
