When WWE NXT makes its debut on the WWE Network, management wants it to be viewed as a huge event. So, instead of just featuring developmental wrestlers, the company has booked Billy Gunn, Bret Hart, John Cena, Road Dogg, Shawn Michaels and Sheamus to make appearances throughout the night.
With CM Punk abruptly leaving the company, WWE needed someone to replace him at the upcoming live events that he was scheduled for. Sheamus has been chosen as the replacement, and he will be working handicap matches against Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins.
Since Drew McIntyre messed around with his Twitter account, Sheamus has been avoiding the social media website ever since. All of the Tweets on there have been deleted. Interestingly, WWE has encouraged their performers to utilize the site more frequently as of late.
Comic Con is hitting up Sacramento for the very first time, and to help ensure draw in people, the convention has signed Sheamus. The former WWE Heavyweight Champion is scheduled to make an appearance there in March.
Sheamus and Booker T were in attendance for the game between the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, as WWE wanted to do a little promotion since Wrestlemania 31 will be held in the area.
John Cena, Alberto Del Rio, Sheamus, Mark Henry, Big Show, Fandango, Great Khali, R Truth, Bella Twins, Summer Rae, Vince McMahon, Stephanie McMahon and Triple H were all in attendance at the Wrestlemania 31 press conference in Santa Clara.
Since they were in town to promote Wrestlemania 30, Rey Mysterio and Sheamus decided to attend an NBA game featuring the New Orleans Pelicans and the Philadelphia 76ers.
WWE sent Mick Foley, Eva Marie and Sheamus to a USO event last night.
Booker T, Sheamus, Rey Mysterio, Kaitlyn, Alicia Fox, Mark Henry, Jimmy Hart and Mick Foley are hosting a Wrestlemania 30 part in New Orleans this weekend.
Through Twitter, Sheamus and Mark Cuban joked around with one another about the Dallas Mavericks and their on screen incident in WWE.
While there have been some speculations about the two of them engaging in a feud, there are currently no plans for CM Punk and Daniel Bryan to work against one another in a program from now until Wrestlemania 30.
The current plans for Big E Langston has him working a big match against Mark Henry at the Royal Rumble. The two will be selling a mentor and pupil story line on episodes of Monday Night Raw first.
It appears that Daniel Bryan will be moved into a feud with Bray Wyatt soon, as WWE has already scheduled them to work together on live events as practice.
Word going around is that despite doing the tease between John Cena and Randy Orton at the end of the Survivor Series last night, the two of them are not expected to feud until Wrestlemania.
Prior to forming the massively popular British Bulldogs tag team, Dynamite Kid and Davey Boy Smith were booked in a long feud in both Canada and Japan.
There's talks that WWE could use Ryback in a feud with Rey Mysterio to put over the popular masked performer in his return feud.
Despite the tease on Monday Night Raw this week, the Wyatt Family and the Shield are not expected to feud any time soon. Some within WWE are wanting to save that program for Wrestlemania 30.

While the crowd reaction at Royal Rumble 2014 was noticed by management backstage, WWE does not appear to be changing their plans for Daniel Bryan. He is still penciled in for a match against Sheamus at Wrestlemania 30, and the program is expected to be started at Elimination Chamber 2014.
Batista won Royal Rumble 2014 by eliminating Roman Reigns in the end. Other contestants during the match were Alberto Del Rio, Alexander Rusev, Antonio Cesaro, Big E Langston, CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Damien Sandow, Dean Ambrose, Dolph Ziggler, El Torito, Erick Rowan, Fandango, Goldust, Great Khali, Jack Swagger, JBL, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, Kane, Kevin Nash, Kofi Kingston, Luke Harper, R Truth, Rey Mysterio, Ryback, Seth Rollins, Sheamus and the Miz.
WWE is still juggling things around backstage, in an attempt to put together a solid card for Wrestlemania 30. Daniel Bryan is one of the most pivotal pieces of the puzzle, and several different scenarios have been discussed for him. The latest is to have him work a rematch against Sheamus.
The Royal Rumble is going to be in Pittsburgh this upcoming Sunday, and so will Chris Jericho, who happens to be working the same auto show that Sheamus is scheduled for. That has led to speculations and rumors that Jericho will be making his return to WWE this weekend.
With Brock Lesnar and Batista already confirmed for the event, there are rumors that Sheamus might not be making his return at the Royal Rumble. WWE wants him on the Wrestlemania card, so they do not want his return to be overshadowed.
There are talks now of having Sheamus working with the Undertaker at Wrestlemania. Management originally wanted Brock Lesnar in the role, but they felt that Sheamus might be a safer choice because his style is not as physical as what Lesnar does.
WWE likes to have some surprises at the Royal Rumble, and it looks like one of those special appearances will be made by Sheamus. The former World Heavyweight Champion has been on the sidelines for a couple of months now with an injury.
With Mark Henry and Sheamus backstage today, there's rumblings that a big return could be taking place at the Survivor Series tonight.
