Sheamus Wrestlemania match

A lot of people are under the impression that Sheamus is going to be a mystery entrant into the Andre the Giant memorial battle royal at Wrestlemania. However, WWE has been telling fans that there are only going to be 20 contestants. Each of those spots have been filled. So now, the belief is that the former world heavyweight champion is going to be thrown into the ladder match for the Intercontinental Championship instead.

Sheamus turns on Bryan

One of the ideas floating around backstage in WWE right now is to have Sheamus making his much anticipated and much promoted return during the Intercontinental Championship ladder match at Wrestlemania. He would initially do so as a baby face before getting the fans to turn on him by costing Daniel Bryan the match. A title feud between the two would then take place for the next month or so.

Word leaked out earlier in the week that Daniel Bryan was being penciled in for a rematch with Sheamus at Wrestlemania. Fans did not take too well to that idea, as many felt that Bryan was taking a step down to work with someone that has been relegated to the mid card division. Apparently, WWE has listend, as reports have now surfaced that management is leaning towards Dolph Ziggler as the opponent for Bryan at the pay per view.

Sheamus returns

Since he has been medically cleared to make an in ring return, a lot o WWE fans have been wondering when Sheamus would be back on television, especially since the Royal Rumble is right around the corner. Reports have surfaced that the former world heavyweight champion is going to be making his comeback during the Smackdown taping on Tuesday. The belief is that management wants to use that to draw in some viewers.

Daniel Bryan at Wrestlemania

During a recent interview, Daniel Bryan confirmed something that WWE fans have long speculated to be true. He was originally not part of the plan for the main event of Wrestlemania last year. His addition to the match was done after several debates and discussions backstage, due to the fans being so solidly behind the undersized underdog. Bryan also revealed that he was initially scheduled to work against Sheamus in the middle of the card.
