While there has been no official confirmation of a concussion, word coming out of backstage is that Sheamus has been pulled from Monday Night Raw this week. The former world heavyweight champion has been replaced in the dark main event. There is a chance that he might still show up at the arena, however, to do some further medical testing.

Going into the Elimination Chamber, Sheamus was initially penciled in as the person that was scheduled to walk out of the enormous steel cage structure with the Intercontinental Championship in his hand. However, as a sign that WWE still continues to change up plans on a frequent basis, management opted to put the belt on Ryback for whatever reasons. It has been less than a week since Sheamus made his return to WWE, and there is already a little bit of backstage heat towards him. Reports have surfaced that he was able to convince management that it would be better for everyone is he were to wrestle against Dolph Ziggler at Wrestlemania instead of Sheamus as originally planned. The match could steal the show.
