Rumors are floating around that management felt that the twins had grown stale because they ran out of teams to defend the titles again. Plus, Rhodes has really been getting into his Stardust character, so the front office wants to see if the gimmick can pick up further steam with a championship push.

Bray Wyatt
It looks like the feud between Chris Jericho and Bray Wyatt will be continuing for another month. As of right now, WWE has the two of them penciled in for some sort of gimmick match at Night of Champions 2014. Each man has a victory on pay per view against the other, but the belief is that Jericho will be putting Wyatt over before taking off to focus on his music again.

Kane
After 17 years of portraying the character, Kane might be receiving a new gimmick soon. Rumors have been floating around that he might be bringing the Jacob Goodnight character from the See No Evil movie series to WWE television. The belief is that management wanted to make it easier to promote the film. Some feel that the story line started when Kane handed over his mask to Stephanie McMahon on the last episode of Monday Night Raw.

Alexander Rusev
While the company would probably never admit it, there are those that believe that WWE is simply setting up Alexander Rusev for a potential feud with Kurt Angle. The Olympic gold medalist has openly talked about leaving TNA and returning to WWE for quite some time now. His patriotic gimmick would be a perfect foil for the evil pro Russian character.

Damien Sandow
Since he has shown a willingness to not only do what is asked of him but to actually put in great effort in doing so, Damien Sandow has been earning a good amount of praise backstage by his peers in WWE. They are impressed by the fact that he has not grown frustrated with the new gimmick. Unfortunately for Sandow, though, management does not feel that he deserves a real push at the moment.

Jerry Lawler
While he receives a bad rap from a lot of fans due to WWE giving him a heavyweight championship run a couple of years back, Miz is actually very much a student of the game. He has remained motivated despite not being given a push in a while. Miz has also been studying legendary actor Andy Kaufman, who will forever have a place in wrestling history thanks to his memorable story line with Jerry Lawler during the 1980s, so that he can improve his gimmick and character.
July 19, 2014
Damien Sandow
Rumors going around right now is that the impersonation gimmick that Damien Sandow has been doing is basically a way for the creative department to appease Vince McMahon, who has been known to find humor in stuff like this. To his credit, Sandow has embraced the role, in hopes that it will convince WWE to finally give him the push that he deserves.
July 7, 2014
Roman Reigns
By now, it's already clear to many that Triple H wants to put Roman Reigns over and make him a main event performer in WWE. However, that might not necessarily be happening overnight. Rumors are floating around that their big match will take place at Summerslam 2014. That might not be the last one. The belief is that this feud will be stretched out and could possible involve a big gimmick match of some sort before the year ends.
July 7, 2014
Cody Rhodes
In a match that was slightly held in higher regards than a filler match, Goldust and Cody Rhodes, who worked under his Stardust gimmick again, defeated Curtis Axel, who was sporting a ridiculous looking singlet, and Ryback. The match was designed to highlight the Stardust character. Since there was a little bit of action after the match, there is a chance that WWE could be continuing this feud.

Cody Rhodes
"It actually came from a joke. Cody Rhodes likes to tell a story that when he was a little kid he used to watch me wrestle. I'm slightly older than Cody, we're talking three years or something like that, but in his head I'm a really old man. I once walked into the locker room and he was telling the entire locker room that when he was a kid he was watching me wrestling as this character he made up named 'Bad News Barrett' who goes around giving out bad news to people. So we all laughed about it and forgot about it. Then I was invited on the JBL and Cole show and they said they wanted to use me on the show and asked if I had any ideas of what to do. So I said you know what, let's just do Bad News Barrett. I'll just turn up and give people bad news and then disappear. I got a really good response online and fans were loving the catch phrase 'I'm afraid I've got some bad news' and Vince McMahon saw it and thought it was the funniest thing he had ever seen. Next thing you know I'm on TV doing it." - Wade Barrett explaining how his new gimmick in WWE came ot be

There's a very good chance that she could end up winning the WWE Divas Championship in the near future since rumors have been floating around that Vince McMahon is not a fan of Paige and her work.
June 14, 2014
Tyson Kidd
Even though the mask has been designed and ordered, it looks like Tyson Kidd might not be doing that gimmick after all. Some were pushing for him to receive a new character and push on the main roster because of his long tenure with WWE. However, others are against the idea and want him to remain in WWE NXT to work with the developmental wrestlers.
June 12, 2014
Bo Dallas
It looks like the Bo Dallas push in WWE could be coming to an end soon. While he still has some supporters in the creative department, especially those who are amused by the gimmick, it is being said that Vince McMahon himself is not a fan. Rumors have it that McMahon was the one that quickly pulled the plug on his first stint on the main roster, so it would not come as a surprise if he decided to halt the push soon.

Adam Rose
During the three hour broadcast of Monday Night Raw this week, Adam Rose was nowhere to be found, and that has sparked quite a bit of speculation about his status in WWE. Kevin Dunn, the producer, reportedly buried Rose backstage not too long ago because he is not a fan of the gimmick. For what it's worth, though, Rose did suffer a bit of an injury at a live event over the weekend.
June 12, 2014
Alexander Rusev
In what appears to the creative department amusing themselves and Vince McMahon, Xavier Woods will be changing up his gimmick for the next episode of Smackdown. He will be donning the red, white and blue ring gear, similar to what he wore in TNA as Consequences Creed, when he faces Alexander Rusev. WWE is doing a Russia vs United States theme.

Sin Cara
If you're still a fan of Sin Cara and want to keep up with the former WWE star, he is now going by the new name of Myzteziz. However, the masked performer is only using that name in AAA. Rumors have it that the promotion wanted to avoid a legal battle with WWE, so they insisted that he come up with a new name that they can trademark. Sin Cara will continue using the name and gimmick outside of that promotion, though.

As many people saw on Monday Night Raw, the feud between John Cena and Bray Wyatt is set to continue, despite the two of them working matches at Wrestlemania 30 and Extreme Rules 2014. Vince McMahon

"One time, and this is a true story, we were in South Africa and [Cena] started battle rapping. He started rapping with someone and it was awesome. He went five minutes just talking about things around the room. And we were like, 'Oh my gosh. Where did that come from?' Tommy Dreamer heard it and Tommy took it to Shane McMahon and Shane McMahon heard it and took it to Vince McMahon and next thing you know he's a rapper on TV…and he had already been with us six months or so.
