MVP is taking the weekend off from TNA live events, so that he can travel to England to work a big show over there for PCW. Promoters there have also booked Al Snow, Shane Helms, Low Ki and Chris Masters as well. One of the things that MVP asked for in contract negotiations with TNA is to have some freedom and flexibility to work overseas still.

Confirmed for the event are Christopher Daniels, Frankie Kazarian, AJ Styles, Devon, Bully Ray, Abyss, Gangrel, Kassius Ohno, Adam Pearce, Kevin Steen, Homicide, Matt Striker, Petey Williams, Shane Helms and the Godfather.

A promoter out in Phoenix is putting together a pretty big show called Desert Storm on May 18. Performers being advertised for the event include Chris Sabin, Matt Hardy, Austin Aries, Shelton Benjamin, Shane Helms, Trent Baretta and Lance Hoyt. In terms of the independent wrestling circuit, that is an extremely stacked card, so it will be interesting to see if the promoters can pull this off.

Last week, Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy teamed up for an independent wrestling show, and the place was packed to the brim. They are hoping to do so again in April when they do an OMEGA event in Cameron, North Carolina, their howetown. The event will benefit the high school that the brothers attended. Shane Helms and Shannon Moore are rumored to be appearing as well.

His good friends Jeff Hardy, Matt Hardy and Shane Helms recently drew in a packed house at an independent wrestling show, so a group tour could be an option.

While most people focus solely on the negatives of a person, Matt Hardy should be highly commended for his work this past weekend. He ran an independent wrestling show under his OMEGA banner, and it was such a success that they were able to raise over $5000 for a local autism charity. Jeff Hardy and Shane Helms were also at the event.

In a sign that his drawing power is still pretty strong, an independent wrestling show that featured Jeff Hardy drew an impressive sold out crowd. Matt Hardy and Shane Helms, who also worked the event, tried to persuade the local Fire Marshall to allow them to sell standing room tickets, but they were denied for safety reasons.

Shane Helms has been seriously injured in a motorcycle accident. The former WWE star was charged with driving under the influences by a police officer who showed up at the scene. Helms suffered a variety of injuries, and his girlfriend broke her neck as well.

Ross was the one that recruited Lesnar into WWE, and when a contract was offered, Lesnar stated that he had a special stipulation he would like fulfilled. In a bit of news that is sure to cause mass speculations about Vince McMahon and company, it has now been announced that there will be a delay in the launch of WWE 2K15. The video game was initially scheduled to be released in North America on October 28. It has ow been pushed back to November 18. The official word given for the move is because both companies wanted to produce the best possible game before releasing it to the fans, but as many already know, that is simply public relations talk.

During a recent interview, Dixie Carter was asked about the situation involving the departure of AJ Styles from TNA. She stated that she felt the company gave him a respectful offer. While she did praise him as a model employee, Carter also goes on to state that she feels that Styles made a mistake by not accepting the contract. The former world heavyweight champion has publicly stated that he felt that the offer was insulting.

Through his Twitter account, Ryback revealed to fans that it has now been 18 days since his surgery, and he has been recovering extremely well from his still unknown injury, which is rumored to involve his groin. He should be making a return to WWE very soon, as he is now pain free. He might not be rushed back, though, as management really doesn't have a story ready for him.

Earlier this week, it was revealed that Ric Flair had to be pulled from the WWE NXT show. The exact reason has now been discovered. The former world heavyweight champion was in the hospital this week for some minor surgeries. No word yet on what those procedures were for, but none of it was life threatening. Flair is expected to be back with WWE after he recovers.

Sources are now stating that the former world heavyweight champion has been cleared to enter the country if he wishes. It is now up to TNA to decide if they want to have him on the show. As of right now, Hardy is not being advertised for the pay per view.

When he finally signed a developmental contract with WWE, many fans were under the impression that Kenta Kobayashi might be one of the rare exceptions who get to keep using their names. However, management opted against that and changed his name to Hideo Itami. The reason fro WWE doing this is because they want to be able to own the rights to the name in case he becomes a big star and leaves someday.

Earlier this week, wrestling fans were stunned to find out that Sean OHaire had committed suicide by hanging himself. TMZ has now revealed that he did try to get help over the last six years. It is being reported that OHaire attended rehab six times, and they were all paid for by WWE. Unfortunately, though, his addiction to alcohol became too much to overcome.

It has now been revealed that WWE pays their developmental wrestlers approximately $25000 a year. There's usually a two or three year commitment involved as well. An established guy like Kenta Kobayashi may be receiving a higher salary, however. The average amount is definitely less than what some of these guys with name value can make on the independent wrestling circuit.

The former world heavyweight champion was supposed to introduce Kenta Kobayashi to the fans as a way to accelerate the fan support for the Japanese star. However, it has now been revealed that Flair has canceled on the appearance due to some sort of personal issue.

During a recent interview, Sami Zayn revealed that Antonio Cesaro actually made the request to management to go down to WWE NXT and work there. Zayn explained that the motive behind the move was to let certain people backstage see what he was capable of since it is harder to get the spotlight on Monday Night Raw and Smackdown. According to Zayn, Triple H was really impressed with what he saw in Cesaro.
