Ric Flair
Earlier this week, it was revealed that Ric Flair had to be pulled from the WWE NXT show. The exact reason has now been discovered. The former world heavyweight champion was in the hospital this week for some minor surgeries. No word yet on what those procedures were for, but none of it was life threatening. Flair is expected to be back with WWE after he recovers.

Adrian Neville
Yesterday, it was revealed that a couple of the WWE NXT performers have been booked for upcoming episodes of Monday Night Raw and Smackdown. Some further details have now been reported. Sami Zayn and Tyler Breeze are only booked for a couple of weeks, while Adrian Neville, who is currently the heavyweight champion in developmental, is scheduled until the end of October.

Adrian Neville
Last week, wrestling fans were dazzled by Adrian Neville, Sami Zayn, Tyler Breeze and Tyson Kidd during a tag team match on Monday Night Raw. You can expect more of that in the near future, as the WWE NXT stars are being booked for more television appearances. Reports have surfaced that Triple H is the one pushing management to feature the developmental wrestlers more frequently.
September 13, 2014
Damien Sandow
If you watched WWE NXT Takeover last night, you know that Tyler Breeze failed to win the heavyweight championship. However, management might have something better for him. Reports have surfaced that Breeze is on the verge of being given a promotion to the main roster, where the cocky character will be joining the entourage of the Miz, which already features Damien Sandow.
September 12, 2014
Kenta Kobayashi
Originally, Ric Flair was scheduled to make an appearance at WWE NXT tonight at the Takeover 2 event. The former world heavyweight champion was supposed to introduce Kenta Kobayashi to the fans as a way to accelerate the fan support for the Japanese star. However, it has now been revealed that Flair has canceled on the appearance due to some sort of personal issue.
September 11, 2014
Antonio Cesaro
During a recent interview, Sami Zayn revealed that Antonio Cesaro actually made the request to management to go down to WWE NXT and work there. Zayn explained that the motive behind the move was to let certain people backstage see what he was capable of since it is harder to get the spotlight on Monday Night Raw and Smackdown. According to Zayn, Triple H was really impressed with what he saw in Cesaro.
September 11, 2014
Ashley Flair
There are rumors floating around that a title change could be taking place in WWE NXT very soon. Bayley might be given the women's title during the middle part of September. Reports are floating around that Ashley Flair is on the verge of being given a promotion to the main roster in about a month, so she would need to drop the belt to someone else in developmental.
August 28, 2014
Kevin Steen
Rumors have persisted over the last several months that Kevin Steen was set to sign a developmental contract with WWE. It looks to be official now, as the former ROH champion has posed for a picture with Triple H while wearing a WWE NXT shirt. The belief is that he will be focusing more on his weight and physique than actually training for the in ring stuff.
August 12, 2014
Bray Wyatt
During a recent interview, Triple H revealed some interesting things about Bray Wyatt. He stated that WWE was on the verge of giving him a release a while back. HHH said he was able to convince management to let him work on a new character and test it out on WWE NXT. Things worked out rather well, and Wyatt was eventually promoted to the main roster.
August 7, 2014
Eva Marie
In the previous generation, Sean Waltman was the benchmark when it comes to fans giving him heat because they legitimately resented the performer. It looks like Eva Marie is going to be taking that mantle now. During a recent appearance at a WWE NXT live event, the red haired diva was treated rather rudely by the audience. Things became even worse after she put on a very sub par performance as well.
July 19, 2014
Kenta Kobayashi
Triple H might be downplaying his arrival to the developmental program, but Kenta Kobayashi is far from a regular new performer joining WWE. Internally, he is being viewed as a major marketing asset as the company is hoping to expand its reaches in Japan. A television network has already agreed to air WWE NXT since Kobayashi will be featured on those shows. The Japanese star is also set to help promote the WWE Network when it expands overseas.
July 17, 2014
Tyson Kidd
Even though the mask has been designed and ordered, it looks like Tyson Kidd might not be doing that gimmick after all. Some were pushing for him to receive a new character and push on the main roster because of his long tenure with WWE. However, others are against the idea and want him to remain in WWE NXT to work with the developmental wrestlers.
June 12, 2014
Camacho
Since 2011, Camacho has worked just one match on Smackdown. During that time, he was not utilized in a match on Monday Night Raw at all. He recently was sent down to WWE NXT to work as a veteran presence on those shows. Today, though, saw the end of his tenure with the company. WWE has given Camacho his release. His tag team partner Hunico still remains on the roster.
June 12, 2014
Batista
While his character quit WWE on Monday Night Raw this week, Batista is still very much working with the company. The former world heavyweight champion will still be making an appearance at a WWE NXT event later on this month. Afterwards, he is expected to take off for a couple of months to do promote Guardians of the Galaxy and film another movie.
June 4, 2014
Adrian Neville
During the latest WWE NXT show, an interesting injury was revealed. Adrian Neville had four teeth knocked out of his mouth during a backstage segment with Brodus Clay, who has been down in developmental for several months now. Neville had dental surgery to repair the teeth and now wears a mouth guard during matches to prevent further damage.
May 31, 2014
Ashley Flair
In a sign that she should be called up to the main roster in the near future, Ashley Flair has been given the WWE NXT Women's Championship. She defeated Natalya Neidhart to capture the belt. Management has long praised her athletic ability, and with her father, Ric Flair, coming back to Monday Night Raw soon, WWE could be looking to capitalize on that relationship.
May 30, 2014
Adrian Neville
"I was shown a package of things he's done and I was wondering if I could keep up in the ring with him. Once he gets here he'll not only already be established, but Superstars like myself will already have ideas in our head about things we can do with him. And that will make it that much better." - Dolph Ziggler praising WWE NXT developmental star Adrian Neville
May 30, 2014
Tyson Kidd
"It's a fresh coat of paint, a whole new start and a way for the WWE Universe to see Tyson Kidd in a different light than they have for the first few years I've been on the main roster. I think they'll see a more complete package. I'm a constant work in progress, always working on every aspect to get better and better. You're always going to see a different Tyson Kidd. Not that I haven't been in the past, but I'm more motivated, focused and driven than ever before." - Tyson Kidd talking about his work with developmental wrestlers in WWE NXT
May 28, 2014
Triple H
For those wondering about the status of Tyson Kidd within WWE, his new role has become a bit more clear within the company. Management likes having him work as an in ring trainer in developmental. The high flyer has been utilized in WWE NXT rather frequently. Triple H recently stated that he trusts Kidd in this role. Kidd might still be utilized on the main roster here and there, however.
May 28, 2014
Triple H
During a conference call today, Triple H reminded everyone that there is a major difference between being on the main roster and being on the WWE NXT roster. The executive vice president stated that just because something works in developmental, it does not mean that it is guaranteed to work on Monday Night Raw and Smackdown.

Sgt Slaughter
While some are under the impression that he is simply portraying a character, Sgt Slaughter was once actually in the military, more precisely the Marine Corps. He even achieved the rank of Sargent during his tenure. That was how wrestling promoters came up with his gimmick and character.
February 15, 2014
Hulk Hogan

A dark horse candidate to induct the Ultimate Warrior into the hall of fame is Sgt Slaughter. The two of them have a history together, as the latter was the one that transitioned the WWE championship from the former to Hulk Hogan back during the early 1990s.

January 29, 2014
Sgt Slaughter

While there was some heat on Sargent Slaughter within WWE for comments he made about Dolph Ziggler and Daniel Bryan, it appears that both sides are now on good terms again. Things were rather cordial and friendly backstage when he made an appearance during the Old School edition of Monday Night Raw.

January 17, 2014
Daniel Bryan

There are those within WWE that are really upset with Sargent Slaughter right now because of his comments during a recent interview about the company not treating and utilizing Daniel Bryan and Dolph Ziggler properly.

December 9, 2013
Daniel Bryan

"I don't think he's [Bryan] being treated fairly. [The people at WWE] are making him work awfully hard to be successful and he's not letting them down. He's working harder than ever. He's like a giant slayer. He takes on the biggest and the best. Kind of like Dolph Ziggler -- he's another talent I thought he wasn't being used right, and I brought it up in several production meetings that they shouldn't do his character as they were."

December 5, 2013
Sgt Slaughter

Sargent Slaughter was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame by his long time friend Pat Patterson.

Alberto Del Rio
A lot of action took place in the main event of Money in the Bank 2014. Fans went crazy as they saw creative signature spots from Randy Orton, Sheamus, John Cena, Roman Reigns, Alberto Del Rio, Kane and Bray Wyatt. However, it was Cena, much to the dismay of online WWE fans, who climbed the ladder and captured the heavyweight championship.
June 29, 2014
CM Punk
To calm down the Money in the Bank 2014 audience, WWE opted to go with another divas match as a filler. Layla El and Summer Rae battled in a match, where Fandango served as the special guest referee. Fans were so disinterested in the segment that a CM Punk chant broke out. In the end, Layla caught Summer with a kick to gain the pinfall. Layla and Fandango kissed after the match, while a despondent Summer looked on.
June 29, 2014
Alexander Rusev
In a rematch at Money in the Bank 2014, Alexander Rusev was successfully able to conquer Big E Langston again with his submission move. It was the typical match that you would expect from the two. There was a botched spot where Langston speared Rusev to the outside of the ring. However, the two of them more than made up for that by doing a great closing sequence.
June 29, 2014
Cody Rhodes
In a match that was slightly held in higher regards than a filler match, Goldust and Cody Rhodes, who worked under his Stardust gimmick again, defeated Curtis Axel, who was sporting a ridiculous looking singlet, and Ryback. The match was designed to highlight the Stardust character. Since there was a little bit of action after the match, there is a chance that WWE could be continuing this feud.
June 29, 2014
Dean Ambrose
In a very exciting match, Seth Rollins outlasted Dean Ambrose, Dolph Ziggler, Kofi Kingston, Rob Van Dam and Jack Swagger to capture the briefcase at Money in the Bank 2014. WWE wants to continue the war between Ambrose and the Authority, so they had Kane coming out and providing assistance to Rollins. Despite the heel tactic to win the match, the Rollins victory was actually cheered by a good amount of fans.
June 29, 2014
Adam Rose
Since WWE needed a filler segment at Money in the Bank 2014 and wanted to showcase Adam Rose a little bit, he was given a quick match against Damien Sandow, who was dressed as Paul Revere. Match was not really all that noteworthy, and Rose got the win after hitting the Party Foul finishing move. This was a segment that belongs more on Monday Night Raw than a pay per view.
June 29, 2014
Cameron
Naomi Knight was given a crack at the WWE Divas Championship at Money in the Bank 2014, but it was Paige that walked away as the reigning titleholder after a DDT and a pin. The match was designed to further the eventual split between Naomi and Cameron, who was at ringside and taking glee whenever her tag team partner was in peril against Paige.
June 29, 2014
Erick Rowan
Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso had their biggest challenge to date when Erick Rowan and Luke Harper challenged them for the WWE tag team championship at Money in the Bank 2014. The twin brothers delivered by retaining the belt. The Usos performed a double superplex on Rowan before finishing him off with consecutive flying splashes from the top rope.
June 29, 2014
Batista
In a rather surprising move, WWE had the Shield win convincingly against Evolution. Batista and Randy Orton were the first two performers to be eliminated from the main event match at Payback 2014, but both provided interference for Triple H after their eliminations. After taking a brutal beating, Roman Reigns picked up the win for his team. Many expected Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins to be eliminated during the match, but WWE opted to give them a dominant ending.
June 2, 2014
Alicia Fox
In a match designed to be the buffer between the two main event features at Payback 2014, Paige successfully defended the WWE Divas Championship against Alicia Fox via submission. Afterwards, Alicia continued her story line of going crazy whenever things do not go well for her. The audience reacted more to the post match antics than the actual match.
June 2, 2014
Bray Wyatt
In a segment filled with plenty of interference from Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, Luke Rowan and Erick Harper, John Cena was able to defeat Bray Wyatt in a Last Man Standing match at Payback 2014 after Cena put Wyatt through a big black box and covered him with an even heavier box. Rumors have it that WWE will be continuing this feud and something could trigger that on Monday Night Raw this week.
June 2, 2014
Rob Van Dam
At Payback 2014, Wade Barrett successfully defended the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Rob Van Dam after picking up the pin fall victory, thanks to the Bull Hammer. The performers placed some doubt in that finish when it appeared that Barrett had injured his arm while smashing into the corner post after RVD ducked away from the move outside the ring.
June 1, 2014
Alexander Rusev
In a glorified squash match at Payback 2014, Alexander Rusev defeated Big E Langston via submission to continue his push up the ladder in WWE. He was able to slap on the camel clutch after delivering a big kick to Langston. Afterwards, he held the submission move on for a short period of time before Lana instructs him to let go. Rusev should be placed into a new feud this week.
June 1, 2014
Cody Rhodes
In a match designed by WWE to accelerate the split between the brothers, Curtis Axel and Ryback defeated Cody Rhodes and Goldust in the second match of Payback 2014. Ryback picked up the pin fall victory for his team after delivering the Shell Shock to Rhodes. Afterwards, Rhodes told Goldust that he needs to find a better tag team partner for himself.
June 1, 2014
Antonio Cesaro
Despite being in the airplane spin for quite a few rotations, Sheamus was able to capture the victory over Antonio Cesaro, who had Paul Heyman with him at ringside, at Payback 2014 by surprising his opponent with a small package. With the win, Sheamus retains the United States Heavyweight Championship and will more than likely be placed in another feud by WWE tomorrow.
June 1, 2014
Daniel Bryan
In a match filled with quite a few over the top spots, Daniel Bryan successfully retained the WWE Championship by defeating Kane at Extreme Rules 2014. A running knee followed by a pin enabled Bryan to get the pin fall victory over Kane. Prior to that spot, Kane was put through a burning table and carried on a forklift, among other things.
May 4, 2014
Paige
Since WWE needed a Divas Championship match at Extreme Rules 2014, Paige was given the victory over Tamina Snuka after delivering her submission finisher. The segment was short and quick, providing only a couple of spots outside the ring. It basically served as a pay per view buffer between the steel cage match and the world title match.
May 4, 2014
Bray Wyatt
After suffering a loss at the last pay per view, Bray Wyatt needed a victory over John Cena at Extreme Rules 2014, and he got just that. Wyatt received a heavy dose of interference from Luke Harper and Erick Rowan, but Cena still managed to overcome those odds. As Cena was walking out of the cage, a kid showed up and began singing, which provided enough distraction for Wyatt to hit his Sister Abigail finisher and walk out for the victory.
May 4, 2014
Batista
In the most anticipated match at Extreme Rules 2014, the Shield defeated Evolution. Roman Reigns picked up the pin fall victory over Batista after a Superman punch and a spear. Triple H, Randy Orton, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose fought through the audience before Rollins took out all four of them by hurling himself from the elevated stands.
May 4, 2014
Big E Langston
The first title change at Extreme Rules 2014 took place when Wade Barrett defeated Big E Langston to capture the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Barrett picked up the pin fall victory after delivering a running Bull Hammer finisher on Langston. A highlight of the pay per view was Langston spearing Barrett from the ring to the floor.
