Seth Rollins wins WWE title

While it is being said that the decision was not a last minute one, Seth Rollins was not aware of the plans when Wrestlemania started. In fact, he didn't even know what was to come while he was doing the job for Randy Orton. Management informed him of their decision during the segment with Ronda Rousey. That was when everyone involved was sent into a room with Michael Hayes to go over the revised finish of the match.

Orton vs Rollins

In a very logical move, WWE has decided to do a Wrestlemania rematch between Randy Orton and Seth Rollins at Extreme Rules. This time, however, the world heavyweight championship will be on the line. Management set this up at the previous pay per view by having Orton defeating Rollins before the latter went to cash in the Money in the Bank briefcase on Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar in the main event.

Zahra Schreiber with Seth Rollins

When it comes to keeping secrets, Zahra Schreiber might not win any world championships. The NXT developmental posted a message on social media about traveling between California, New York and Florida in a short period of time. It happens to be the same schedule that Seth Rollins was on during Wrestlemania week. The two of them were rumored to be a couple. Something blatant like this only adds more fuel to the fire.

NXT at Wrestlemania

To promote the brand that he is currently in charge of, Triple H noted that all but one match at Wrestlemania featured someone that trained at NXT. Antonio Cesaro, Luke Harper, Seth Rollins, Paige, Rusev, Bray Wyatt, Roman Reigns and several WWE stars in the Andre the Giant battle royal all went through the developmental program. The only match that did not feature someone from there was the one between HHH and Sting.

Randy Orton vs Seth Rollins

In the second match at Wrestlemania, Randy Orton defeated Seth Rollins. The match started out a bit slow, but towards the middle of the match, it became obvious that WWE did that by design. Once the pace picked up, fans in the audience started really getting into it. Jamie Noble and Joey Mercury were both taken out by a double apron DDT to the floor by Orton. A ridiculous flying RKO spot ended the match and sealed the victory.

In the main event of Smackdown this week, John Cena will team up with Daniel Bryan, Roman Reigns and Mark Henry to take on Bray Wyatt, Big Show, Seth Rollins and Kane. The match could just end up in a big brawl at the end, so that they can promote the Andre the Giant memorial battle royal.

Evan Bourne RKO
