As an effort to generate some last minute excitement for Wrestlemania, WWE has decided to put their top stars into a big tag team match. In the main event of Smackdown this week, John Cena will team up with Daniel Bryan, Roman Reigns and Mark Henry to take on Bray Wyatt, Big Show, Seth Rollins and Kane. The match could just end up in a big brawl at the end, so that they can promote the Andre the Giant memorial battle royal.

While everyone is under the assumption that the Intercontinental Championship ladder match is going to steal the show at Wrestlemania, Randy Orton and Seth Rollins have a different plan in mind. They're hoping to produce the match of the night. Rumors are floating around that the two of them have been discussing plans on doing a spot that is as awesome as the one where Evan Bourne took a flying RKO while flipping off the top rope.

A match between Randy Orton and Seth Rollins is still heavily expected to take place at Wrestlemania. That much is known. What is not known, however, is who management will have coming out on top after the bell rings. Many backstage in WWE are pushing for Rollins to be put over, so that he can be moved into a title program with Roman Reigns. However, there are some that are pushing for Orton to get the win because he is making a comeback.

For much of the past year now, WWE knew that they wanted Seth Rollins to have a spot on the Wrestlemania card. They simply did not know who he was going to work with. Management seems to have found a candidate in Randy Orton. While the match should be high profile, the feeling backstage is that this is simply a filler feud for Rollins. The company is simply killing time with him before they figure out when to pull the Money in the Bank trigger.

As many of you already know, there has been some back and forth bickering between Jon Stewart and Seth Rollins. The host of the Daily Show even took the time to film a video promo stating that he would be willing to come to WWE to confront Rollins personally. There are now reports that it may actually happen. Some are even suggesting that the appearance could take place this upcoming Sunday night at Fast Lane. Others say Wrestlemania.

While he has yet to make television return for WWE, there are still plans in the works for Randy Orton. As of right now, he is penciled in for a high profile match against Seth Rollins at Wrestlemania. Management would like to start promoting that match soon, so Orton could be making his return as early as this Sunday when Fast Lane takes place. There, he would more than likely do a sneak attack on Rollins, who would then seek his own revenge.

Since he should be medically cleared by the time the pay per view rolls around, the widespread belief among wrestling fans is that Randy Orton will be one of the mystery entrants during the big Royal Rumble match. However, WWE could opt to utilize him in a different way next Sunday. There are talks that he could be the one to interfere and cost Seth Rollins the chance to become the world champion, thus setting up their Wrestlemania feud.

When it comes to Wrestlemania, things are usually written in pencil, even up until the start of the pay per view. One thing that is fairly certain is that Randy Orton will be given a spot on the card, barring a serious injury or suspension. The problem for WWE is finding him someone to work with. One idea being tossed around backstage is to have the former world heavyweight champion working a high profile singles match against Seth Rollins.

During a recent interview, Chris Jericho listed Seth Rollins as one of the guys in WWE that he would love to work a program with. The belief is that management is actually interested in that idea because they need an established veteran to help put over Rollins before he cashes in the Money in the Bank briefcase. A potential match between the two at Wrestlemania seems like a very likely idea at this point, but a lot can change from now until then.
