Rollins vs Orton

On the surface, Seth Rollins defeated Randy Orton at Extreme Rules to retain the WWE Heavyweight Championship. Things might not be that way tomorrow on Monday Night Raw because the creative department made sure to make the ending as convoluted as possible. Orton hit the RKO, but it was on Kane instead of Rollins, who also hit the RKO as well. That leaves open the possibility for another rematch between the two performers.

Seth Rollins retaining title

While WWE has done a solid job of trying to make us believe that Randy Orton has a chance of walking away with the world heavyweight championship at Extreme Rules, the current plan consists of Seth Rollins retaining the belt. He more than likely will be cheating to get that done. Since the front office doesn't want to do a straight up rematch, the belief is that Roman Reigns will be thrown into the mix at Payback in a triple threat match.

Rusev plans changed

When WWE decided to put the world heavyweight championship on Seth Rollins instead of Roman Reigns, that changed up plans that they had for Rusev. Initially, he was supposed to have been built up as a top level heel challenger for Reigns. Now that another heel is in the top spot, there is only so much that the Russian sympathizer can be pushed. The belief is that management extended his feud with John Cena, so they can figure out what to do.

WWE fans leaving

In a rather interesting bit of news, a lot of fans in attendance at Monday Night Raw were said to have left before the main event even started. That is peculiar because WWE was trying to determine a number one contender for their world heavyweight championship. Apparently, a lot of these fans were already able to predict that Randy Orton was going to be the one to challenge Seth Rollins at Extreme Rules, so they walked out.

Orton vs Rollins

In a very logical move, WWE has decided to do a Wrestlemania rematch between Randy Orton and Seth Rollins at Extreme Rules. This time, however, the world heavyweight championship will be on the line. Management set this up at the previous pay per view by having Orton defeating Rollins before the latter went to cash in the Money in the Bank briefcase on Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar in the main event.

Seth Rollins bumps

Now that he is the world heavyweight champion, Seth Rollins is going to find that life is a bit different when you are sitting on top of WWE. Management reportedly is instructing him to change up his in ring style a bit. They want him to take less bumps because they want to maintain his health during his reign. Officials hate it when their top champion has to take time off because it throws off all of their plans for the upcoming months.

Seth Rollins cashes in

During the seventh match at Wrestemania, Seth Rollins shocked the world by cashing in the Money in the Bank briefcase after Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar pounded one another rather brutally for several minutes. Fans showed their disdain for Reigns during the match, so they cheered heavily when Rollins appeared on the verge of winning. In the end, WWE opted to call an audible and let Rollins walk out as the new heavyweight champion.
