Seth Rollins vs Triple H

While his first choice remains an epic rematch against Dwayne Johnson at the Wrestlemania taking place in Dallas next year, Triple H has a secondary plan in case the world famous actor is not available. Seeds have been planted for an eventual feud between HHH and his protege Seth Rollins, whose character was hand chosen by the on screen COO to hold the world heavyweight championship. A slow rift will be built up over the upcoming months.

Roman Reigns

Payback 2015 main event

In the main event of Payback, Seth Rollins successfully retained the world heavyweight championship by defeating Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Randy Orton in a fatal four way match. Plenty of interference from Kane, Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble throughout the match. A small reunion between the Shield got the audience really hyped up. In the end, Rollins used the Pedigree finishing move to finish off Orton.

Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins keeping belt

While the company has tried their best to make us believe that a title change can take place at the pay per view, Seth Rollins is more than likely going to be walking away with the WWE Heavyweight Championship once Payback is over. Management is quite pleased with the reaction that he has been receiving from the audience. They are also glad that some members of the internet wrestling community are falling for the cowardly heel routine.

Sheamus

Sheamus winning IC title

Initially, WWE had planned on giving Sheamus a big heel push so that he could challenge Roman Reigns for the world heavyweight championship. However, those plans were scrapped, and we now have a heel champion in Seth Rollins. The front office knew that there was only so much they could push the Celtic Warrior before he hit the ceiling. Well, rumors are floating around now that they are going to give him the Intercontinental Championship to work with.

WWE edits curb stomp

For those of you that are still in denial about WWE banning the curb stomp finishing move, the company has outed themselves once again. This time, they have edited the big moment in the main event where Seth Rollins uses that move on Roman Reigns to win the world heavyweight championship. The clip shows him getting ready for the move, but then the front office edited the scene and replaced it with a shot of the live audience instead.

Rusev

WWE live event changes

Fans attending WWE live events this upcoming weekend might be in for a bit of disappointment if they were looking forward to see John Cena and Randy Orton. The two of them have been pulled from the road. Management is going to try to supplement the show by having Seth Rollins defending the heavyweight championship against Roman Reigns on one tour. The other will be headlined by Rusev, Dean Ambrose and Ryback.

Rollins vs Orton

On the surface, Seth Rollins defeated Randy Orton at Extreme Rules to retain the WWE Heavyweight Championship. Things might not be that way tomorrow on Monday Night Raw because the creative department made sure to make the ending as convoluted as possible. Orton hit the RKO, but it was on Kane instead of Rollins, who also hit the RKO as well. That leaves open the possibility for another rematch between the two performers.

A lot of discussion has been had by the internet wrestling community this week about WWE banning Seth Rollins from using the Curb Stomp finisher because it is deemed as being dangerous. The former world heavyweight champion revealed that he has frequently refused to sell the move where he rams his shoulders into the ring post.

Randy Orton

Seth Rollins retaining title

While WWE has done a solid job of trying to make us believe that Randy Orton has a chance of walking away with the world heavyweight championship at Extreme Rules, the current plan consists of Seth Rollins retaining the belt. He more than likely will be cheating to get that done. Since the front office doesn't want to do a straight up rematch, the belief is that Roman Reigns will be thrown into the mix at Payback in a triple threat match.
