In a move that seems almost too petty to believe, it has now been confirmed that the official WWE account on Twitter is no longer following CM Punk after he walked out before Monday Night Raw this week. The decision could have been made by someone in the marketing or technology department as opposed to Vince McMahon or Triple H.
WWE has been pushing the wrestlers to use Twitter more often, especially on weekends, in order to get the fans talking more about the performers and company. The belief is that management has noticed how much of a buzz Ryback has been able to create through the social media website.
During a recent interview, Stephanie McMahon touted the WWE app by revealing that it has been downloaded more than eight million times.
Since CM Punk has been pulled from all of the upcoming live events, WWE needed a new main event match, as he was originally planned to headline the shows with Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins. Now, Bray Wyatt and Daniel Bryan have been moved into the top spot.
With CM Punk abruptly leaving the company, WWE needed someone to replace him at the upcoming live events that he was scheduled for. Sheamus has been chosen as the replacement, and he will be working handicap matches against Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins.
Seth Rollins has found his way on to TMZ this week. The WWE star revealed in an interview that he went underneath the ring during a match last week, in order to relieve himself. The Shield member stated that he really needed to pee and could not wait until the segment was over.
WWE has a poll on their website, asking fans which member of the Shield do they think will win the heavyweight championship first. Seth Rollins is surprisingly in the lead at 41%, while Roman Reigns has 33% and Dean Ambrose has 26%.
CM Punk defeated all three members of the Shield during the opening match of TLC. He was able to pin Dean Ambrose after Roman Reigns accidentally hit his teammate with the spear. Match was entertaining, and the crowd was lively.
