Paul Bearer
Michael Moody has passed away. While he's not necessarily a well known name in the world of professional wrestling, many will remember him as being the son of the legendary Paul Bearer. When the company wanted to induct the iconic manager into their hall of fame, WWE enlisted the help of his two sons to do the honors. Moody was 34 years of age and passed away in his sleep.

Bully Ray
When his contract was expiring, a lot of fans wondered what TNA would do with Bully Ray and his stories since he was leaving the company. The two sides have reached an agreement to continue working together, so that the stories can be resolved. Bully Ray will also work the Bound For Glory 2014 event and be inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame before parting ways.

Bully Ray
Reports surfaced not too long ago that Bully Ray was leaving TNA, as his contract was set to expire and a new deal could not be reached between the two sides. Apparently, he is going to remain on good terms with management, as the former world heavyweight champion is still being advertised for Bound For Glory 2014. Team 3D is scheduled to be inducted into the hall of fame that evening, but it would not come as a shock if Bully ended up working a match on the pay per view.
August 30, 2014
Kevin Nash
In the past, Kevin Nash has been pretty adamant about not wanting to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. He's even gone as far as to instruct his wife to decline the offer if he were to pass away. It seems like Nash is now softening his stance. He recently stated that he would refuse to be inducted as Diesel, but he did not mention anything about going in under his real name.
August 11, 2014
Jake Roberts
Some interesting news was recently revealed by Jake Roberts. The master of the DDT told fans that he initially did not want to be inducted during the same night as the Ultimate Warrior, as the two of them have had a longstanding backstage heat. Roberts also stated that he was going to avoid Warrior at the hall of fame ceremony. However, both sides decided to make up with one another instead.

Ricky Steamboat
With the company losing millions of dollars this year, budget cuts are looming over everyone in WWE. The latest string of them has made a casualty out of a beloved hall of fame performer. Ricky Steamboat has quietly been released from his contract. The former Intercontinental Champion had been working in the talent relations department under Triple H over the past year.
July 19, 2014
Bray Wyatt
A black eye usually is not something to be proud of. It is, however, when you're a lifelong wrestling fan being punched by one of the greatest performers that the industry has ever seen. Bray Wyatt received a black eye during a big live event at Madison Square Garden in New York City over the weeken due to an errant punch by Ric Flair. Reports are stating that the incident happened because Flair forgot that he was wearing his hall of fame ring. There is said to be no backstage heat between the two due to the injury.
July 14, 2014
CM Punk
Since leaving WWE earlier in the year, CM Punk has remained relatively quiet, making sporadic appearances at NHL and MLB games. The former world heavyweight champion is going to be making a higher profile appearance later on this month. Punk will be the co-host of the kickoff show for the Alternative Press Music Awards, which is being held at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland.

Scott Hall
After announcing his retirement from UFC, Chael Sonnen posted a quote on his Twitter account that stated, "Bad times don't last, but bad guys do." The comment caught the attention of Scott Hall, who proceeded to criticize Sonnen for stealing the line that he made while being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. This appears to be a misunderstanding as Sonnen is a big fan of wrestling and has used several quotes over the years.
June 22, 2014
Bully Ray
When TNA announced at Slammiversary 2014 that Devon and Bully Ray were going to be inducted into the hall of fame, it led to a lot of speculation about the status of Devon with the company. It looks like the former television champion is making a return to TNA, as his profile has been restored on the official roster page on their website.
June 17, 2014
Rock
Since he is easily one of the biggest stars that professional wrestling ever produced, the Rock remains the top choice for WWE when it comes to the Hall of Fame induction ceremony at Wrestlemania 31. However, the company has now focused on Sting as a potential candidate to take the top spot in the class next year in case they are unable to convince Rock to participate in the event.
June 17, 2014
Jeff Jarrett
Thus far, the TNA Hall of Fame consists of Sting and Kurt Angle, two of the more prolific performers in the history of the industry. A third member is set to join them. At Slammiversary 2014, Angle will be on hand to announce who the latest inductee will be. No official word on who the third person was going to be, but there are heavy rumors that Jeff Jarrett could be inducted as part of his departure agreement with TNA.
June 11, 2014
Randy Savage
Today is a sad one for professional wrestling fans. It marks the third year anniversary of the death of Randy Savage, one of the biggest legends in WWE history. The former Intercontinental Champion passed away after suffering a heart attack and crashing into a tree while driving. Much like before his death, fans have been begging WWE to induct him into the hall of fame.

Bob Holly
"They try to make that hall of fame leigtimate, but if you'll notice, to me, it's politically driven. A dead giveaway is Hunter wanting all of his little buddies, his little circle first. He's taken care of all of them." - Bob Holly suggesting that backstage politics plays a big part in the WWE Hall of Fame
May 19, 2014
Kevin Nash
Earlier this month, rumors surfaced that Mickie James and Rikishi were candidates to join the Rock at the hall of fame induction ceremony during Wrestlemania 31. Another name that WWE has reportedly been discussing is Kevin Nash, even though the former world heavyweight champion has been vocally against being inducted.
May 17, 2014
Jimmy Uso
Another interesting name that has surfaced in the rumor mill as a potential hall of fame inductee at Wrestlemania 31 is Rikishi. The belief is that including him in the same class as the Rock, whom WWE is hoping will be the centerpiece induction at the event, makes a lot of sense. There is also the chance that a reconciliation and reunion with Naomi Knight and Jimmy Uso could be a big story.
May 14, 2014
Lita
Since the company has already given the honors to Lita and Trish Stratus, two of the more known WWE Divas over the last two decades, management is said to be looking for another female performer to induct into the hall of fame at Wrestlemania 31. A name being tossed around right now is Mickie James, who is currently pregnant but should be available by next spring.
May 14, 2014
Kevin Nash
When he is not inducting his good friend into the WWE Hall of Fame, Kevin Nash does a little bit of work as an actor. The former world heavyweight champion revealed that he has a small part in an upcoming movie with Keanu Reeves. It is called John Wick. Reeves plays the lead role as a highly qualified hit man who ends up killing more than 300 people in the film.

Andre the Giant
"He's definitely a legendary guy that deserves to be in the WWE Hall of Fame, I'm glad he got to go in when he was still alive. I always respected him as a performer, some of his matches were pretty quick I remember he came in the Winnipeg arena once and beat Andre the Giant in 30 seconds, at the time I was like, 'What a rip off! That sucks.' But I remember Wrestlemania 6 where he had a classic with Hulk Hogan, much like a lot of guys from that time period he had good matches when he had the right opponent." - Chris Jericho on Ultimate Warrior as a performer

Randy Orton
WWE is promoting Hell in a Cell 2014 as having a double main event, and the reason behind that is simple. They do not believe that Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins are proven draws yet, even with the big steel structure and a highly entertaining feud behind them. Thus, the reliance on John Cena and Randy Orton, two guys that the company has relied on for years now, to help sell the pay per view.
October 14, 2014
Seth Rollins
Management dedicates a lot of their creativity to events such as Royal Rumble 2015. With Randy Orton being penciled in for a baby face turn and a push, there are discussions going on backstage about having him do that at during the big battle royal. A potential story would have the former world heavyweight champion rebelling against the Authority and their wish to have Seth Rollins winning the match.
October 9, 2014
Triple H
On Monday Night Raw, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon announced that John Cena and Dean Ambrose would be facing one another in a match at Hell in a Cell 2014, and the winner would get to work the main event against Seth Rollins in the gigantic steel structure. Rumors are still floating around that the loser of the match will be given Randy Orton as a consolation prize.
October 7, 2014
Seth Rollins
In order to create new matches in the main event scene, WWE is contemplating a baby face turn for Randy Orton in the near future. Seeds have been planted on Monday Night Raw recently when his character is shown complaining frequently about being forced to put out fires created by Seth Rollins. The belief is that a feud between the two will be taking place very soon.
September 30, 2014
Dean Ambrose
While WWE is still trying to finalize plans for Hell in a Cell 2014, one thing is certain. Seth Rollins is going to be working a match inside of the huge steel structure. His opponent will either be John Cena or Dean Ambrose. Management has not yet made a decision on that, but the belief is that Cena has the advantage because he has been more of a proven draw over the years, and the pay per view desperately needs that drawing power since Brock Lesnar and the WWE title are not going to be present.
September 30, 2014
Seth Rollins
During his latest podcast interview show, Chris Jericho revealed that he was originally scheduled to work a match against Seth Rollins at Night of Champions 2014. WWE wanted that to match to happen since Jericho would not be around later for Rollins to work with. For some reason, though, management opted to go with Roman Reigns instead.
September 25, 2014
Seth Rollins
While there is a possibility that WWE does a third straight match between John Cena and Brock Lesnar, there are those backstage that are pushing for Cena to be transitioned into a feud with Seth Rollins instead. That's why the story line of Rollins attempting to cash in at Night of Champions 2014 took place. The belief is that this program will help elevate Rollins into the main event scene.
September 22, 2014
Roman Reigns
By now, everyone knows that Roman Reigns has been hospitalized and is forced to miss Night of Champions 2014. Seth Rollins needs a new opponent. One of the ideas being tossed around is to have Dean Ambrose making a surprise return at the pay per view and continue his feud with Rollins. Ambrose had taken a couple of weeks away from WWE to film a movie, but he finished up this weekend.
September 21, 2014
Roman Reigns
When word spread that Roman Reigns was rushed to the hospital, WWE made it clear that he was going to miss Night of Champions 2014, where he was scheduled for a big match against Seth Rollins. Reports have now surfaced that Reigns might be missing Hell in a Cell 2014 as well, as medical examiners believe that the type of hernia that he is suffering from is quite severe.
September 20, 2014
Seth Rollins
Some really awful news for WWE this weekend, as Roman Reigns had to be rushed to the hospital. The rising star is undergoing surgery for an incarcerated hernia. Reigns will be forced to miss his Night of Champions 2014 match against Seth Rollins. Since the match was a featured one, the pay per view has suffered a bit of a blow. No word yet on what WWE intends to do with that slot.
September 20, 2014
Seth Rollins
Even though Brock Lesnar agreed to work more dates for the company, WWE still has reservations about having a part time world champion. Reports have surfaced that management is considering the possibility of having Seth Rollins cashing in on his Money in the Bank briefcase at Night of Champions. The move would require John Cena to regain the championship briefly.
September 6, 2014
Dean Ambrose
A Shield reunion could be taking place as soon as Night of Champions 2014. Unfortunately, though, the trio will not be on the same side. There are talks now that instead of doing a singles match between Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns, WWE could opt to go with a tag team match. Dean Ambrose would make his return and team up with Reigns against the team of Rollins and Kane.
August 26, 2014
Seth Rollins
There is a split backstage in WWE when it comes to viewing Dean Ambrose as a main event performer. A lot of people in management do not view the former Shield member as someone of that caliber. He also has his supporters, and that group has probably increased in size after his superb performances with Seth Rollins at Summerslam 2014 and Monday Night Raw.
August 21, 2014
Kane
Expect to hear plenty of comparisons between Dean Ambrose and Steve Austin over the next couple of months. WWE is having the former Shield member take elements of the Austin character in an attempt to win over even more fans. While it was not shown on Monday Night Raw, the company is doing a story where Ambrose refused medical attention after being severely injured by Kane and Seth Rollins.
August 21, 2014
Dean Ambrose
When it was announced that Dean Ambrose was going to be starring in an upcoming WWE Studios movie, the belief was that he was going to need to take some time off to film his part. It looks like the former United States Heavyweight Champion might only be missing the live events, as management still wants him around on Monday Night Raw and Smackdown to further his feud with Seth Rollins.
August 16, 2014
Rob Van Dam
On Monday Night Raw, fans saw Rob Van Dam being pulled from a Beat the Clock match against Seth Rollins. He was replaced by Heath Slater, who got the surprising win, thanks to distractions from Dean Ambrose. It turns out that WWE did that because RVD is actually not cleared to wrestle. He is still recovering from an unknown injury. For what it's worth, it appears that he might be fine soon, as the former world heavyweight champion is scheduled to head to Australia for the tour.
August 6, 2014
Roman Reigns
During a recent interview with CBS Radio in Washington DC, Batista was asked for his opinion on Roman Reigns. The former world heavyweight champion stated that he felt that WWE is pushing Reigns a bit too quickly. Batista feels that the company would have benefited more by giving Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins a longer baby face run since the stable was really over with the audience.
August 5, 2014
Seth Rollins
Since he is smart enough to know that a career in WWE doesn't last forever, Seth Rollins has wisely decided to prepare for life after his career as an in ring performer is over. The former Shield member has partnered up with an independent wrestler to start a wrestling school in Moline, Illinois. It is called the Black and Brave Wrestling Academy. Santino Marella recently did the same thing before being forced to retire from WWE due to neck injuries.
July 16, 2014
Roman Reigns
During the main event of Monday Night Raw this week, it appeared that Seth Rollins injured his knee during an interaction with Roman Reigns. Rumors are floating around now that he is actually fine and was just selling the move. However, there are reports that WWE is simply downplaying things, so that fans will continue to be hyped for his upcoming match against Dean Ambrose. Fans in attendance noted that the referee did indeed signal the medical crew backstage when the incident happened.
July 15, 2014
Triple H
On Monday Night Raw, WWE was quick to set up the main event for WWE Battleground 2014. John Cena will defend the heavyweight championship in a fatal four way match against Roman Reigns, Randy Orton and Kane. The move was set up by Triple H, who did not reveal his reasoning for putting Reigns, an adversary, into the title match instead of Seth Rollins.
