That means that there will be an empty spot for someone on the roster to try to claim during his absence. It is being said that many backstage are pushing for Dean Ambrose to be given that chance. The one thing that might get in the way of that is that it might be too soon to do a rematch with Seth Rollins.

As some of you may already know, Shawn Michaels is coming back to WWE in October to work an episode of Monday Night Raw. Reports have now surfaced that the former world heavyweight champion is going to be working a big story line that night. No details have been leaked yet, but there is a lot of speculation that he could end up working a segment with Triple H and Seth Rollins.

HHH vs Rock at Wrestlemania

As of right now, WWE still has The Rock penciled in for a big time match against Triple H at Wrestlemania. The reason why HHH is the opponent as opposed to someone like Brock Lesnar or even Seth Rollins is because management is really pushing to get Ronda Rousey to make an appearance at the pay per view. UFC won't allow her to wrestle, but they might be convinced to let her do an appearance at ringside.

During a recent interview, Seth Rollins revealed that Joey Mercury was the person that was responsible for getting him a developmental contract with WWE. The world heavyweight champion also revealed that Mercury was also instrumental in getting a deal done for Dean Ambrose. Your backstage stroke in the company rises tremendously if you are able to find two main event performers from the independent wrestling circuit.

Seth Rollins breaks record

While it is not getting anywhere near the coverage that the record broken by Nikki Bella recently did, Seth Rollins has placed his name into the WWE record books. Having held the world heavyweight champion for 184 days, he is now the longest reigning titleholder that is also a Money in the Bank winner. Miz held the belt for 160 days, while Kane was champion for 154 days.

Sting on Seth Rollins

After their brutal match at Night of Champions, Sting and Seth Rollins had a rather interesting discussion. The former was sitting in an ambulance when the latter stuck his head in for the chat. Rollins apologized profusely for what happened, but the WCW legend comforted him by telling him that no one was at fault for the injury. Rollins took the opportunity to also express how great it was to work with someone he idolizes.

Sting felt numbness

During his Night of Champions match against Seth Rollins, Sting revealed that he experienced numbness on a couple of occasions. The first time it happened, the feeling went down through his arms and ended at his fingertips. The second time, however, caused him to feel numbness all the way down to his legs, which is quite scary. WWE will be doing some heavy testing on his body before allowing him to work another match.

Sting neck not broken

Some good news in regards to the injury that Sting suffered at Night of Champions during his WWE Heavyweight Championship match against Seth Rollins. While it still seems quite severe, reports have surfaced that his neck is definitely not broken. Some are still considered that it might be a spinal injury. Regardless, though, management is said to be hesitant about using him in the ring again.

Since he has now proven that he be utilized as the top guy in a promotion, Jay Lethal has reportedly earned the interest of WWE. In the past, management wanted to focus on signing guys that fans were not all that familiar with. However, with the recent success of guys like Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens, the front office has changed their policy a little. Lethal has expressed interest in the past.
