WWE not concerned about Rollins

Reports have surfaced that WWE officials were not panicking when Seth Rollins went down with a torn ACL injury. Though they view him as an important piece of the product, losing Rollins is not on the same level as losing The Rock or Steve Austin to an injury. Plus, the front office already had made plans for Roman Reigns to take over the top spot at the Survivor Series anyways.

Seth Rollins moves to Alabama

As a sign of how dedicated he is to his career, Seth Rollins has moved from Iowa to Alabama. He will be living there for the next two months so that he can be closer to the rehabilitation center and Dr James Andrew, the surgeon who repaired his torn ACL. WWE officials are quite pleased that Rollins is showing that much devotion to the cause. On a side note, this is what Triple H once did when he was in rehab.

Plans were in place for him to break away from the Authority after dropping the belt to Roman Reigns. The injury changed everything.

Instead, they are opting to respect his wish for time off to focus on other projects and heal up from his various injuries in the ring. No exact time frame has been announced, but he should be back before the Royal Rumble.

Sting replacing Rollins

The odds of Sting being utilized more frequently to help alleviate the loss of Seth Rollins are said to be extremely low. WWE is said to be concerned about his health after how badly he was banged up in his last match. It makes them want to only use him for special occasions. There is also a financial issue with using Sting more frequently. His asking is rightfully higher than normal. Plus, he does not do the tours.

Undertaker vs Cena

With the devastating loss of Seth Rollins, WWE has been forced to make changes to their Wrestlemania lineup. The former world heavyweight champion was scheduled for one of the main event slots. One of the ideas that has been tossed around backstage is to finally pull that trigger on a match between John Cena and Undertaker, especially since the latter is running out of performers that he can work with.
