Payback 2015 main event

In the main event of Payback, Seth Rollins successfully retained the world heavyweight championship by defeating Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Randy Orton in a fatal four way match. Plenty of interference from Kane, Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble throughout the match. A small reunion between the Shield got the audience really hyped up. In the end, Rollins used the Pedigree finishing move to finish off Orton.

While the company has tried their best to make us believe that a title change can take place at the pay per view, Seth Rollins is more than likely going to be walking away with the WWE Heavyweight Championship once Payback is over. Management is quite pleased with the reaction that he has been receiving from the audience. However, those plans were scrapped, and we now have a heel champion in Seth Rollins. The front office knew that there was only so much they could push the Celtic Warrior before he hit the ceiling. Well, rumors are floating around now that they are going to give him the Intercontinental Championship to work with.

During a recent interview the Des Moines Register, Seth Rollins revealed the reason why he chose Davenport, Iowa as his hometown. He stated that it enables him to disconnect from the world when he is not on the road with WWE. He stated that since it is such a small town, he can separate himself from the character that he plays on television. Rollin believes that doing that is crucial for his health, as some performers remain in character at all times.

This time, they have edited the big moment in the main event where Seth Rollins uses that move on Roman Reigns to win the world heavyweight championship. The clip shows him getting ready for the move, but then the front office edited the scene and replaced it with a shot of the live audience instead.

It appears that the front office might have been forced into the situation because of advice that they received from their lawyers, who are currently battling multiple lawsuits from former wrestlers.

The two of them have been pulled from the road. Management is going to try to supplement the show by having Seth Rollins defending the heavyweight championship against Roman Reigns on one tour. The other will be headlined by Rusev, Dean Ambrose and Ryback.
